I stared at the ring in the box that Jaxson had handed me.

"I hate that these moments keep getting stolen from us." I looked at him and back at the ring.

"I know. I had a whole thing planned too." He took the ring from the box and slid it on my finger as we sat there on the floor. " I was going to take you out onto the lake and the guys were going to set off fireworks. We were going to have champagne and watch the stars and dance for hours."

"Wait. The lake as in here?" He nodded. "When?"

"Well I was going to ask you next week." I threw my head back and laughed. "Why are you laughing."

"Because if I don't laugh I'm going to cry." I rested my head on him. " Do we have everything to do it?"

"Yeah- Wait."

"Well we need photos to make your dad believe we are right? So why don't we?"

"Len-"

"You planned it Jaxson. They already took my dad today I don't want them to take this from me too. We have both waited way too long for this. You've had this ring for over a year and a half. You asked my dad for his permission over 18 months ago. Go tell the guys and I'll get dressed. Lets forget about all of this forced stuff tonight and just be us. I want this to be about us. Not them." I took the ring off and handed it back to him. He looked at it and back at me.

"Are you sure it's not too quick? I thought you were going to say no next week."

"I wouldn't have Jax. And I'm not now. And not because I don't have a choice. Because I want everything we have talked about." I got onto my knees and slowly stood up. "Now come on I need to find an outfit and get ready." He stood up and kissed my cheek.

"I'm sorry about your dad baby. He was a good man." I nodded and he started walking out.

"Send the girls up I need help."
