                                          𖩩 : the once injured heroes were transported to a nearby university hospital, the after effect of Y/n's quirk taking its effect. Y/n sat at the waiting area, taking a pain killer before sipping on water in attempts to calm the drawback of her own quirk, 'This one's a strong migraine. I guess it makes sense, I did treat many injuries along with the use of my ultimate more than once.'

Y/n sighed, "L/n," Y/n looked up to see her teacher, "Walk with me," he ordered before turning his back towards her. Y/n screwed the cap back on the bottle as she got up from her seat and followed the man, her eyes catching a glimpse of green hair towards the wall.

She smiled as she turned towards the figure, "Izu!" She took the boy into her embrace, Izuku returning it before parting from her. The two followed their teacher as he filled them in on the other's conditions, "Thank to L/n, a majority of them are only bed ridden due the drainage of energy."

Y/n smiled as she glanced at the ground, "Um, what about Eri?" Izuku asked, "She's still feverish and sleeping. She's being quarantined right now." Y/n furrowed her brows as she looked up, "I'm sorry, if I had known she came down with a fever I could've treated her immediately."

Izuku smiled at the girl, "It's okay, you were taking care of the others and I was near an ambulance." Aizawa looked over his shoulder at the girl, "Otherwise, you did well." Izuku furrowed his brows, "Even so, if she's quarantined I can't see her."

Y/n glanced at the boy, "Apparently, it was decided based on the information we got from you about her," Aizawa informed, "She can't control her quirk that rewinds people. If something activates it again, I'm the only one who can stop her." The trio soon stopped in front of an elevator, waiting for it to stop at their floor

"You were able to touch her by continuously destroying your body, right?" Aizawa asked Izuku, Y/n's brow knit together at hearing what he had to do. "Yes," Izuku confirmed as they stepped into the elevator, "There aren't many people who can do that. Even if there was someone who could, if that girl's quirk became powerful enough to surpass that.." Aizawa briefly paused.

Izuku lowered his head, "Yeah, if you hadn't erased Eri's quirk I don't know what would've happened.." The trio stepped out of the elevator and headed towards the right hall, 'Izuku had a near death experience—and yet I couldn't do anything to stop it.'

'If Mr. Aizawa weren't there he would've actually—' Y/n quickly brought herself out of her thoughts before she could finish her dreadful thought. "We cannot depend on her quirk," Aizawa said as they stopped in front of double doors, "All we can do is accept it."

As the doors opened Y/n's look seemingly softened as it revealed two familiar faces, "He also just arrived." Y/n quickly made her way towards her grandmother, falling to her knees as she hugged her small form, "Gran, I'm sorry— I didn't know what to do.. if I had taken the fragment out and didn't heal him fast enough h-he could've—" The elderly woman hushed the girl as she gently caressed her head, Y/n took a shaky breath as All Might placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"All Might.. and Recovery Girl!— but why?" Izuku asked as he made his way into the room. "I called them—because.." Bubble Girl's eyes began to form tears, she covered her face as her words began to waver, "Sir was always talking about All Might.." Centipeder comforted the woman as she began to cry.

"There's nothing else that we can do. Honestly it's a mystery on how he's still alive," The surgeon informed, Y/n slightly lifting her head from her grandmother's shoulder, "It may be, because of me..I kept him stable for a while." Chiyo looked at her granddaughter, "There's nothing I can do with my healing at this point.. Y/n is also at her limit from today's operation."

Y/n's bottom lip began to quiver as she buried her face into her grandmothers shoulder once more. "Unfortunately, I don't think he will live to see tomorrow.." The surgeon broke the news to them.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so.." Y/n repeatedly whispered as her body began to tremble. Her words wavered through the lump in her throat as her eyes were shut tight. Chiyo comforted her granddaughter as best she could as she signaled for Toshinori and Izuku to enter the surgery room.

"Dear, you did well. I heard of what you did today," Chiyo said as she caressed the girl, Y/n shook her head, "I couldn't..save him gran. He was right in front of me and I didn't know what to do..." Y/n's tone was no louder than a whisper, "An all powerful quirk— and yet I couldn't save someone.."

"Y/n."

She lifted her head up to see All Might, gesturing for her to come towards him, "He wants to see you," Y/n's eyes widened as she hesitantly stood up. Chiyo gave her hand a reassuring rub before letting her go.

The girl stepped into the room, All Might guiding her shakened figure towards Nighteye's bedside. Y/n pursed her lips as they began to quiver, "Nighteye.. I'm sorry I couldn't-" Nighteye weakly smiled at the girl causing her to stop mid sentence, "You kept me alive.. don't apologize for that."

Y/n hesitantly gave a nod, "The future is uncertain— You and Midoriya have changed my thinking...That's enough for me." Y/n along with Izuku began to tear up, "My only regret is.."

"Sir!"

Y/n and Izuku turned towards the entrance as Togata ran towards Nighteye's bedside. Toshinori placed his hands on Y/n's shoulders to give him space. "You can't! Please, live! You can't die!" Togata pleaded as he gripped the bed's railing, tears forming in his eyes with every word.

"Mirio...you suffered so much because of me.." Nighteye began. Y/n covered her mouth as she turned towards All Might, resting her forehead against him. All Might kept his eyes on Nighteye as he placed a comforting hand on his god daughter's head.

Y/n listened as Nighteye reassured Togata, though her head was still spiraling with guilt. "So, smile.." Y/n looked over her shoulder towards Nighteye, All Might's hand remained on her head as he bit his quivering lip. "Smile. A society without cheer and humor.." the blonde lowered his head as a tear streamed down his eyes.

Y/n clenched her teeth as tears formed in her own eyes, All Might moving his hand on the girl's shoulder as he pulled her close to him. "..will not have—-a bright future.." Y/n lowered her head, as the last spike of his heart beat appeared before her line of vision before flat lining.

The man who could see one's future, laid in his deathbed— with nothing but a bright smile left behind.

"I'm sorry..." Y/n whispered as a single tear streamed down her face.
