𖩩 : "w-we...WE ACTUALLY WON!" The small boy laughed in amazement as he jumped around in the waiting area, "Yea, you guys were amazing thanks to L/n," Kaminari chuckled as Mineta fell over in betrayal but he knew that the blonde was correct.
At the moment he was awaiting her return from the infirmary to thank her, "Team Midoriya and Bakugo: Practical exam, ready? Go!" Perhaps she'd awaken midway into Izuku's battle but it was not likely.
"You did well, I'm so proud Y/n," Mineta was not the only one waiting for her. Nemuri had sat next to Y/n's sleeping figure since the end of her exam, she placed a hand on her daughter's cheek with a small smile.
"That determination of yours is undoubtedly your mother's— she was an amazing woman."
"Indeed she was," Nemuri shifted her gaze towards the elderly woman not too far from her, Chiyo smiled as her shielded eyes shifted towards the sleeping girl, "Though you, Nemuri, are just as amazing as she was. Her determination came from both of you and her will to fight from Chikara."
The woman was taken aback from her words but soon a smile formed on her lips as she began to caress her daughter's cheek.
"Well I guess you're not wrong about that."
A few minutes passed by, Izuku and Bakugo's battle was now approaching the mid way point— leaving everyone on edge seeing that All Might was not going easy on them.
Y/n's eyes slowly opened, her e/c eyes catching sight of the white ceiling that was above her. She sat up to see her guardians on each side of her bed, both with smiles on their faces. "Had a good nap kid?" Y/n chuckled as she rubbed her nape, "Well yea, your quirk hits harder than melatonin that's for sure."
"Midoriya is in the middle of his exam right now," Chiyo informed, "Along with your boyfriend," Y/n felt a vein pop as she faced her mother with a closed eyed smile, "I believe you have the wrong idea mom."
"Oh come on, you already met his parents during your stay at his place, you're practically a couple at that point."
"No, it was- you know what never mind, I'm going back to the waiting area," Y/n pulled the covers away from her before taking her leave. Nemuri watched with a satisfied grin at her reaction, "You two always find ways to tease one another," the elderly woman sighed as she turned in her seat.
