𖩩 : before Aizawa could lay a harsh punishment for the three, Y/n had managed to convince him to hear her out. Because of Y/n's reasoning, her punishment wasn't as harsh, though Bakugo and Izuku couldn't say the same.

The following morning Y/n was the last to leave the dorm building due to the events that occurred the night before. She rushed towards the exit of the dormitory as she frantically tied her tie. 'Shit, I just had to sleep in.'

Y/n suddenly ran into someone's back which caused her to stumble back. The ash blonde turned to look at whoever ran into him with a glare, "Watch it!" He sneered.

The girl quickly balanced herself before smoothing out her uniform, "You missed a spot there," Y/n smirked as she pointed towards a corner. The boys were to clean the dormitory under house arrest as their punishment for the fight they had, Izuku's punishment were to last three days while Bakugo had an additional day for being the one to start the fight.

The blonde scoffed as he turned his attention elsewhere, "Isn't it time for home room." Y/n shifted her gaze towards the clock that hung above the double doors, 'Fuck, Aizawa is definitely going to extend my detention time.'

The girl wasted no time in rushing out the door, Bakugo's eyes followed as he paused mid sweep. The freckled boy turned towards the male as he heard the abrupt pause in his actions.

"I'm glad you and N/n are warming up to one another, Kacchan," Bakugo sent a glare towards the male across from him causing him to shutter, "Shut up Deku."

Y/n furrowed her brows in in a confused manner as her eyes roamed around the empty classroom, "Where did they all go?"

"They are outside attending the opening ceremony, where you are supposed to be."

The girl turned her attention to the familiar voice behind her, her confused expression softened into a smile.

"Don't give me that look brat, why are you late," Nemuri asked her daughter as she crossed her arms over her chest, "I slept in, but I'm happy to see you mom— since I didn't see you last weekend."

Nemuri's look softened as she gave her daughter an apologetic look, "I know, sorry kiddo. You know how things are now with the patrols." Y/n gave a nod as her gaze shifted towards the ground, "Yea, don't worry I understand."

Nemuri sighed as she placed a hand on top of the girl's head, "Aizawa told me about last night, you're lucky that man only gave you detention for sneaking out during curfew." The girl chuckled as she rested her forehead on her mother's shoulder, "Yea, I managed to lesson the blow for myself."

The woman caressed the girl's hair before she pulled herself away. "Alright, I'll take you to the opening ceremony, let's go." Y/n gave a nod as she followed her mother out of the building.

The healer soon met with her classmates, Y/n listened to what she could of the announcement she had walked in the middle of, "—and there will likely be more chaos throughout our world in the near future."

"In particular, this will be most apparent to those of you studying in the hero course. You must approach extra curricular activities, like the Hero Work Studies available to the second and third years, with a greater sense of caution." Y/n rose a brow at her principals words, "Hero Work Studies?" Mina questioned next to her.

"Maybe they're the next level of the internships we already did?" Asui guessed, Y/n shifted her gaze back to the stage, 'It doesn't sound too far off,' she thought.

"The air always seems heavy when we talk about gloomy subjects, but rest assured your teachers are working hard to remove this weight from your shoulders" Nezu assured his students before stepping aside for the staff member he had introduced beforehand.

"Yesterday—- TWO STUDENTS—" Y/n gave the man a questioning look as his words became an incoherent growl. Even so, she had a good guess as to what Hounddog attempted to say. "Alright, as you just heard there were two students fighting last night. I know you're not used to life in the dorms but let's all be a little more respectful moving forward," Vlad King advised before dismissing the students by grade.

The students' schedule went on as normal though a new topic was now brought into their classroom. "Excuse me sir, may I ask a question? What were those things the principal was talking about during the opening ceremony?" Asui asked.

"Yea, I never heard the term Hero Work Studies before" Sero added on, "He said they're something the upper class-men participate in correct?" Momo asked to ensure that her guess was correct. "I was planning to talk about those at a later date, but I guess telling you now is more logical" Aizawa began as he had his students attention.

"To put it simply, it's work outside of class. Like the internships you did at Pro Hero agencies before; only closer to the real thing." Ochaco furrowed her brows in a questioning manner, "Wait then why did we work so hard in the sports fest?" The brunette questioned.

"If we have work studies, those who weren't scouted at the Sports Festival still have career paths" Iida responded, Aizawa adding on to his student, "You'll be using your connections from the festival to secure a work study, it's basic networking. This isn't part of your normal class work, it's discretionary for each student."

Y/n rested her cheek against the palm of her hand, 'I'm going to have to contact Best Jeanist soon,' she thought as she looked over her shoulder at the empty seats behind her.

"That means those who weren't scouted at the Sports Festival will have a hard time lining one up I'm afraid. Originally individual agencies recruited on their own, but there was lots of competition as people tried to recruit UA students so this is how things ended up. Now that you have your provisional licenses you can assist in real ways for longer periods of time, until now there haven't been many first years that have received their licenses."

Y/n sighed through her nose as she turned her attention to her teacher once more, "With the increased activity of villains we're currently exploring the idea that you could participate in work studies as well, we'll explain more about the work studies positions and what the program consists of at a later date,  for now we've got other things to worry about. That's all." Aizawa informed as he dismissed his class for the day.

As Y/n made her way down the hall after serving detention, she took a moment to think about the events that occurred within her first semester, her mind seemingly being reminded of what Nemuri told her the day of the Sports Festival.

'If mom knew my parents well enough for them to intrust me with her,' the girl caught sight of bright blonde hair ahead of her as she stopped in her tracks, 'I wonder who else knew them.'

Y/n began to walk once more before pausing behind the scrawny male, "Hey, All Might?" The man turned towards the sudden voice behind him with a smile, "Yes young L/n."

The girl began to feel unsure of the question she had approached the man for, but her uncertainty was quickly over powered by her desire to know the answer.

"May I ask you about the two heroes named Enchant and Voltage."
