𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐘𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃'𝐒𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝗉𝗈𝗌𝗍 𝗆𝖺𝗅𝗈𝗇𝖾
𖩩 : y/n was the first to leave for the dorms out of the other students, bidding a 'see you soon' to her grandmother before heading out.
Since Nighteye's passing Y/n had been spacing out more than once, Aizawa took notice of her behavior resulting in her being urged to head back to school. Y/n's train ride back, up to her finally getting to the dormitories was filled with silence, not even her inner thoughts were loud enough to fill in that silence.
It was as if everything had been set on mute. That's why once she reached the entrance to her dorm room, she hadn't noticed Bakugo calling out to her, "Y/n!" the girl suddenly jolted, finally able to hear Bakugo after being called three times.
The blonde's eyes narrowed as he stopped infront of her, "You're in a worse state compared to this morning" he commented. Y/n's once shocked expression quickly changed, she didn't want to worry her boyfriend, so she did what she thought was best— and gave him a smile.
"I was just tired" she assured, though Bakugo wasn't buying it. His ruby irises switched from his girlfriend's irises to under her eyes, she could pull off a smile but the puffiness from beneath her eyes just furthered his suspicion.
He sucked his teeth, leaning against the wall next to him. Briefly, Bakugo looked at Y/n from the corner of his eye before hesitantly placing a hand on her head, "Idiot, you think i'll buy that?!" Y/n's eyes widened as she looked at him, her smile subtly fading.
Bakugo wasn't good at comforting others and Y/n knew that. But she knew that at that moment— he was trying, "You don't have to give me details, I saw the news, but you don't have to put up an act either!" Bakugo shouted.
Bakugo rarely received comfort from his parents, but when he did it would be in their own way. His father being more gentle and sentimental, while his mother went with the method he was doing with Y/n.
"So stop pretending like you're all tough!" those words alone, along with the absurd amount of guilt she still felt, were enough to make her eyes gloss over. Tears began to stream down the healer's face as she let her self lean forward into her boyfriend.
"Kat—suki...I..failed!" she said through tears, her wailing echoed the hall as Bakugo listened to Y/n. His brows knitting together at the new side of his girlfriend— though it wasn't a side he was ready to see. He wouldn't admit it, but it was heart breaking even for him, to watch the girl who was always head strong seemingly crumble into him.
