𝖾𝗓𝗋𝖺 𝖺𝗆𝖺𝗋𝖺𖩩 : as Aizawa had informed, the students training was not as easy as they thought it would be. It was now six in the morning, the students were doing their assigned training methods in order to increase their quirks power. For Y/n, she had to heal the amount of injured animals that were found in the beast forest she was assigned, "In order for you to go past your limits I want you to heal the creatures in those boxes."
"All—of them?" Y/n looked at the boxes in disbelief, "Every single one," Aizawa left the healer alone with her given task, she sighed as she cracked her knuckles.
"As long as I'm able to save more people than my limit—"Y/n took a box into her hands, it had breathing holes punched on top for whatever creature laid within it. She pulled the top back to reveal the horribly injured squirrel, it's side was cut from what had seemed like a bigger creature than itself.
The small animal quivered in fear and pain, "You'll be okay, I won't harm you," Y/n reassured as she picked it up carefully. She placed one of her hands over the squirrel gently as she began to heal it and in a matter of seconds the small squirrel had begun to look as if it was revived.
Y/n gave it an acorn that was near by as a treat for it's bravery before letting it go into the forest, "One down-"she sighed as she turned to the stack of boxes behind her, "—a lot more to go."
Box after box the drawbacks of her quirk began to creep up and along with that the severity of the animals injuries increased. At this point and time Y/n has healed up to 20 animals in the last hour, it was getting increasingly harder for her to keep her vision clear, "I won't let these animals suffer any longer."
She was now half way done, only 19 boxes remained. "Alright, that's all for today," Y/n had finished healing up to 39 animals, not a single one was left injured. Though, the price she paid was a severe headache and blurred vision.
At dinner time the drawbacks of her quirk were starting to dim down, "Now, remember what I said! We're not serving your food anymore," Rag doll then added on to Pixie-Bob's words, "So if you guys want to eat you will be preparing your own food starting with, curry!"
"Yes ma'am."
Rag doll laughed at how exhausted and unenthusiastic the students looked, "Oh, I see, an important part of saving someone who's recovering from a disaster is to provide for their physical needs as well as spiritual," Y/n chuckled at Iida's words, his outlook on things were much different from the rest.
'Yea, that's totally what this is about.'
"This is a great opportunity!" Iida attempted to get his classmates into the cooking spirit which in return only got him a, "Yeah, okay" in response.
Before anyone could begin to cook they first got showered and changed. The girls took charge of getting the needed ingredients with the boys lending a helping hand— Todoroki and Bakugo helping start a fire.
"Relying on others won't let you learn how to start a fire yourself," Momo used her quirk to create a match to start her own fire which was successful, "We should acquire new skills," Jiro and Y/n sighed as they both decided to go chop the vegetables needed for the curry.
Soon their dinner was finally all prepped and ready to eat , though— while the rest of her classmates had smiles on their faces Y/n felt off. She looked around for a head of green curls only to find none of the sort.
Sero took notice of the girls actions, "If you're looking for Midoriya he followed Kota," Y/n smiled as she thanked the dark haired male, she sighed as she looked into the night sky, 'I'm guessing he's taking my advice from yesterday.'
But that odd feeling she felt never subsided, her brows furrowed as she felt the air change.
'What is it with this ominous feeling.'
The following day was the same as the last, the only difference being the amount of boxes that Y/n was given. Instead of 39 it was up now to 58 boxes, "Where do they get this many animals," Y/n mumbled as she begun to heal one of the many animals.
"Don't lose focus, each of you can move faster. And no matter what you're doing just remember where you started from, don't forget who you were before U.A," Y/n kept Aizawa's words in mind as she moved on to her next patient.
Aizawa turned towards Bakugo and Y/n, "Always keep in mind why you're sweating. Keep in mind why you have a set limit and why those limits are being tested—-That's what it means to improve."
'Where I started from?' Y/n looked at the many boxes that remained on her table as she let another healed animal return to their home, her head pulsing from the withdrawal of her quirk. "More importantly!" Pixie-Bob began, catching the attention of the students, "Tonight's going to be really fun! We're putting classes against each other in a test of courage! I know you've all been training hard today and later you'll get to play rough. How's that for a reward!"
"Sounds like more training then a reward," the girl mumbled as she gave the now healed bird a berry. "Don't slack off now! Make sure to keep pushing yourself while you work!"
"Yes, ma'am"
