𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐓 𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗋𝗈 𝖻𝗈𝗈𝗆𝗂𝗇
𖩩 : as the match between Todoroki and Sero came to an end it was time for Y/n to prepare for her long awaited match. "Sero is going to throw him out of bounds! Nice move Sero!" Y/n took a deep breath as she walked towards the door, "Dear," she turned to her grandmother who sat comfortably in her chair, "Yes gran?"
The elderly woman gave her grandchild a smile, "Do your best," Y/n gave a nod and a smile in response before taking her leave. "It's time to welcome our new competitors!" She heard Present Mic announce her opponent first as she stepped into the arena, she was going up against Ibara Shiozaki of class 1-B, "Versus the healer from the skies and the light of Midnight's life, Y/n L/n!"
The two girls met each other in the middle awaiting for their match to begin, "YOU CAN DO IT BESTFRIEND!!" Y/n looked up to where her class sat, seeing all of her classmates cheer her on, Izuku being the loudest one which surprised many but made her smile. "Excuse me," Y/n turned to her opponent who had interrupted Present Mic's commentary.
"I'm not sure why you called me an assassin, I came here to be victorious not to take my opponents life," Present Mic was taken aback from this and apologized for his wording but Y/n's opponent continued on until Present Mic interrupted her speech already getting impatient with how much time had been wasted, "Listen I said I was sorry! That was my bad okay," Y/n sighed as Present Mic composed himself, "Now lets begin!"
Y/n gave her opponent her hand to shake , "Let's both try our best alright?" Her opponent gave a nod in response as she shook her hand in return, the two retreated their hands and began their match— Y/n making the first move. She started the match off with a low kick in attempts to bring her off balance which caught her opponent off guard, "Woah! You're quick!" Ibara said as she dodged her attempt.
Y/n noticed the thorns from her hair had detached from the ground, she looked at the ground seeing that a couple thorns began to sprout from the concrete and dodged the thorns attempts of trapping her, "That's impressive," Y/n praised as she continued to dodge the thorns as she tried to close the distance between her and her opponent. "What speed! And all with just her pure strength!" Present Mic shouted as everyone in the crowd cheered.
'I can't keep dodging forever, even with my stamina she'll eventually catch on to my movements,' Y/n sighed at her thoughts as she jumped over a couple thorns in front of her. 'Such a dilemma, but I'm guessing since she's staying in place—,' Y/n tucked into a roll stopping right in front of her opponent, "Sorry, I promise I'll heal you after," Ibara hummed in confusion as Y/n immediately stood from her current position as she brought her fist up into an uppercut directly to her opponents jaw.
'— she has no combat experience,' the crowd went quiet as Ibara's thorns halted it's movements. Y/n's opponent fell forward signaling that she had been knocked out, "Shiozaki is out of bounds! L/n is able to move to the next match!" The crowd cheered after coming back to their senses, amazed at the girl's moves. Y/n knelt down and placed a hand on Ibara's back to quickly heal her, "Thank you for giving it your all," she smiled as she saw the wound Ibara had received from her finishing move disappear before making her way out of the ring.
"N/n!" She turned to the freckled boy but instead of meeting his gaze she was met with a tight hug instead, she was caught off guard but hugged the boy back. "You were awesome! You have to teach me some of your moves!" Izuku complimented before pulling away from the embrace, Y/n laughed a little before patting the boy's shoulder, "You should ask Mr. Aizawa to teach you instead, he was the one who trained me," Izuku gave a nod in response before accompanying her to her grandmother's temporary office.
"Iida's up next, I wonder how it'll turn out,"Y/n looked over towards Izuku, "I'm sure he'll win, he's a great strategist,"the boy gave a nod as the two reached the office and waved each other off as Y/n made her way inside. "You were amazing dear, I'm so proud," she gave her grandmother a smile as she took a seat in front of her.
