𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝗇𝖾𝗂𝗄𝖾𝖽
𖩩 : exams were now truly over but due to some of the outcomes of the practical exam a few students weren't as happy as others.
"I-I hope yo-you guys ha-have fun at ca-camp," the pink haired girl stuttered through tears along with the other students who failed the exam. Y/n felt a bead of sweat glide down her cheek as she placed a hand on her friends shoulder in attempts to reassure her.
"Come on, knowing Mr. Aizawa there'll be a last minute twist or something," Izuku gave a nod in agreement to her words as his nervous smile was still plastered on his face. "Yea, don't give up you guys!" The freckled male added causing the group to burst into a pool of tears, "L/N!, MIDORIYAAAA! THANK YOUUUU."
They laughed nervously at their classmates reactions at their attempts to cheer them up. Kaminari began to mumble to himself about the consequences that had been set if one were to fail the exams. As Izuku was getting attacked by his worried and upset classmates Aizawa had made his way towards the entrance as the class scurried to their seats to make it seem as if they were awaiting his entrance all along.
"Once the bell rings you should all be in your seats," The sleep deprived like teacher scanned the room to see his students already in their seats, wasting no time he went straight into the long awaited topic amongst some of the students.
"Unfortunately some of you didn't pass the Practical Exams, so when it comes to the training camp-," Aizawa paused, making a certain group of students grow impatient before he finally finished his mini cliffhanger with a, "Everyone is going," causing Kirishima, Mina and the rest of the group that had failed the practical to cheer in happiness.
"We really get to go?!" The red head asked in disbelief. "Yea, fortunately no one failed the written exam, only five failed the practical badly, two teams in that matter," Aizawa explained the purpose of the practical exam before moving on to the next topic, that being training camp.
"The training camp will focus on building your strength, the ones who failed will be needing the lessons the most, we were never going to separate you 5 from the group, that was just a logical deception we used."
Y/n chuckled, 'You teachers and your logical deceptions, they played us all'
"Mr. Aizawa this is the second time you've lied to us aren't you afraid of losing our trust ?!" Iida asked as he stood with his hand raised high in the air.
"You have a point, I'll consider it although I didn't lie about everything, failure is failure after all. We've prepared extra lessons for the 5 of you," Aizawa informed as the group of five slumped their shoulders in disappointment as class was dismissed for lunch.
"Hey N/n!"
The girl turned to the green haired male, she rose a brow seeing that he was out of breath assuming that he had ran from the classroom after his conversation with the rest of their friend group. "The whole class is going to the mall, we're getting stuff for training camp. You should come," Izuku suggested with a grin.
Y/n gave a nod in response as she looked at the training camp guide they had passed out after lunch, they were going away for three days and one of the things on the packing list was a swimsuit which she was in dire need of.
"Sure, I do need a swimsuit. What are you getting?" Izuku looked at his own guide scanning through the packing list before giving his answer, "I need a bigger bag for these things so I might just look for that and some bug spray."
"Oh, well I have a duffel bag that I haven't used so I can let you borrow it if you'd like."
"Really? You just saved my wallet!" Izuku smiled.
"No problem, just stop by my place and pick it up when you can," Y/n smiled in return as she put away the guide in her bag. "So when is this class trip to the mall," she asked with a chuckle as the boy tapped his chin to remember the date.
"Saturday I think around 2 pm, we can go together. I'll stop by then to get the bag too so we can walk together there," she gave a nod in response, "Alright. Come on let's go, I'm ready for a nap."
"Did you stay up again N/n?"
"Tsunaida tamashii no hi ga m-"
"N/n."
Saturday rolled around, the training camp quickly arriving, though before class 1- A can head to a few days worth of training and fun, their first trip was to the mall.
"Y/n! Let's head over to that store!" Momo suggested as she tugged on the girl's arm as the others girls pushed her from behind with giggles. "Well, I do need a swim suit," Y/n laughed with a small smile as they all entered the store with their bags of necessities in hand.
Y/n looked around the store where different colors of two pieces, one pieces and some skimpy ones all hung on racks and were on display. Y/n felt a light tap on her shoulder, she turned to be faced with a black and orange two piece that Ochaco had in hand with a smile, "This would look nice on you don't you think?"
The girl smiled in return as she scanned the bathing suit once more, "The colors are pretty nice, though I'll look around some more before settling on one option," Ochaco gave a nod in response as she hung the bathing suit back where she found it.
As the girls tried on and showed each other their options Y/n had finally caught sight of a bathing suit that she thought most suited her. The girls purchased their bathing suits of choice before meeting with the others— but someone was missing.
"Where's Izuku?" Y/n rose a brow as the others looked around noticing that the boy was no where to be seen, "We did go to the store before seeing him so maybe he went straight to a store near here," Jiro suggested with a shrug.
"Actually I was here with him for a moment but—" Ochaco began to become flustered all of a sudden, Mina smirked as she nudged the brunette, "What happened?" Ochaco shook her head with her hands on her cheeks before straightening her posture and composing herself.
"I joined you guys and Deku was here by himself, so I think he might still be at one of the stores like Kyoka said."
"I guess, we did say we'd meet back here in 3 hours, so far 2 hours have gone by," Y/n sighed, "I should go-"
"I'm right here guys no worries!"
She turned to the familiar voice, the boy smiled at the sight of his friends, "I just went to get some bug spray and some other things for the trip," Y/n turned to the smiling boy, his cheery smile faltering.
"I'm sorry for worrying y-"
"Just text me next time you idiot."
Izuku was a bit taken aback, he was expecting a lecture but got nothing of the sort though he smiled once more. "Let's go get something to eat then!" Y/n smiled in return with a nod of agreement.
