𖩩 : y/n along with her classmates directed their attention towards the door seeing Midnight standing in the hall, "What you pick today could be your code name for life, so you better be careful or you will be stuck with a name utterly indecent," Midnight said as she made her way inside the classroom and stood next to Aizawa.

"Midnight's right, she's going to have final approval of your names," Aizawa said as he took a hold of his yellow sleeping bag, "It's not my forte. The name you give yourself is important, it helps reinforce your image and shows everyone the kind of hero you want to be. Take All Might for example," Y/n passed down the white boards to her row before looking down at her blank whiteboard in attempts to think of a name.

As her classmates went up one by one already having names for themselves she didn't know what would help reinforce her image as a hero. Y/n sighed as the next student went up, until she finally got an idea. "Who's next," Y/n made her way in front of the class as she held her whiteboard to her chest.

"As a healer I want to help others and keep injuries to a minimum, I want to be seen as someone civilians can depend on and feel a sense of safety in; not just as a healer but as a hero overall," Y/n took a deep breath before turning her whiteboard around, "That is why I chose the name Serenity, a name that will give them peace of mind," the class gave a round of applause as she took her seat.

After her went Iida who chose to go by his real name as well as Todoroki that had went moments prior. As for her best friend, he had gone after Iida, "Alright, Midoriya are you ready?" The boy gave a nod before getting up from his seat, as he stopped at the desk he turned his whiteboard. His classmates weren't expecting what they saw especially Bakugo, "Midoriya are you sure? Remember that name might stick forever," Kirishima pointed out as Izuku looked at his white board.

"I used to hate it before, but someone showed me another meaning to it and now I really like it, so Deku has to be my code name," Y/n smiled as she rested her cheek on the palm of her hand, "In that case, Deku will always be my favorite hero." Izuku smiled at Y/n along with his classmates, but Bakugo felt a sense of jealousy dwelling within him as he made his way up for his second try.

He didn't know as to why he had felt the way he did, maybe it was because his childhood rival had gotten the attention that he himself craved for, "Lord Explosion Murder," the blonde shouted after getting his thoughts together, Y/n shook her head as her mother mentioned that it was the same as the last name he had chosen.

Once he took his seat Aizawa had finally decided to take over, "Now that you're done choosing your hero names we can go back to talking about your internships, it will last for one week. As for who you are working with those who had offers can choose from among the offers, the rest will have a different list."

"You have a lot to think about, there are about 40 agencies across the country who have agreed to take in interns from your class, each agency has a different specialty that it's heroes focus on, keep that in mind," Aizawa explained as he held a stack of papers in his hand, Midnight gave a couple examples to backup his explanation as the stack was being passed around, "Turn in your choices before the weekend." Y/n looked at the paper that was now on her desk, questioning the amount of time that she and her classmates had to choose an agency.

She looked up from her paper as her classmate asked a question, they were wondering the same thing as she was, "We only have two days?" She sat back on her chair as she looked at the blank sheet once more, "Yes so I suggest you start now, class dismissed," Aizawa along with the girl's mother took their leave as the students sat at their desks.

Y/n sighed as she let her head tilt back, "This is tough," Y/n mumbled to no one in particular, but Bakugo decided to respond anyway, "I'm surprised that someone like you managed to get offers." Y/n  lifted her head up and turned to the blonde that sat behind her, "You're one to talk, you were restrained during the awards ceremony and still managed to get offers."

Bakugo glared at her, but to his dismay this was the reaction that Y/n was looking for. Satisfied with his reaction she turned back to the paper on her desk before looking at her options, 'Mom seems like an obvious choice—though I could train with Gunhead to improve my combat skills, Best Jeanist— I don't really know what he could teach me.'

Y/n fiddled with her pencil in her hand before finally listing down her options in the order she thought worked best for her. With the hard part finally being completed she began to pack her things and made her way out of the classroom, "I should probably drop this off before going home," Y/n looked at the paper in her hand as she made her way towards the teachers office.

And with her final task being completed she went straight home and so did Bakugo shortly after her. Y/n took notice to the presence that was not too far behind her and glanced over her shoulder to see a familiar head of blonde spikes before looking to the direction of her home.

"You walk like a grumpy toddler," the blonde looked up from what he was currently gazing at before responding to her , he was annoyed already by just her presence but it wasn't like the feeling he used to have before. "Shut up for once," Y/n chuckled slightly, she didn't feel like responding to his come back which slightly surprised the male.

He glanced over at Y/n that was not far from him now, she didn't seem off to him in the slightest which made him more confused than surprised. They both walked in silence, but in a way the silence was somewhat comforting to the two.  They both soon went their separate ways and slept in for the remainder of the evening.

Days went by since the students chose their agencies and before they knew it the day they would start their internships soon arrived. "Everyone has their costumes right?" The students gave their teacher a nod in response as they held their numbered brief cases in their hands, "Alright, remember that you don't have permission to wear them out in public yet and don't lose them or anything," Y/n gave a nod while Mina gave a informal response resulting in a scolding from their teacher.

Once Aizawa gave his students a final lecture they were finally sent off, a new experience awaited them and Y/n was ready to see what her internship had in store for her.
