Luke has been hiding out in the gym bathroom with Calum for the last ten-minutes, one would think that as with the big volleyball tournament coming up, Calum wouldn't dare leave practice for an extended period of time to vape in the locker rooms.

Since Aria ditched the blonde, he's seen her wandering around the school snapping photos here and there, before completely disappearing. So now, Luke is with his best friend passing around a metallic gray electronic cigarette filled with lemon infused nicotine.

They're laughing about some joke that isn't all that funny, and talking about new albums released from their favorite artists. Discussing previous tests, and stupid things that people did during classes. Much like every other student in high school, Calum and Luke meet up in the bathrooms during classes or breaks.

At this point is some kind of club with all grades. There's always a select few, those people who are always in the bathrooms every day. And don't think Aria and Michael are any better. It's high school.

Calum blows out the smoke, "So, how's your first day of school issued community service?" He asks, "I saw Aria walking around, aren't you two supposed to be together or something?"

"She yelled at me and stormed off," Luke says. "I was trying to be civil, but she can't even do that." He mumbles, "Anyways, I've just been wandering around doing fuck all, and I have to put these photos on a shared drive or some shit."

"Are you staying until five?" Calum asks, only because sports practices go on until five because one hour isn't enough to get affairs in order apparently. "If you are, I can give you a ride home, and stop in the city to buy juice– I'm almost out."

"I'm done at four," the blonde replies. Inhaling the rough smoke into his lungs, Calum always gets the flavors with the roughest pull, something about having it 'hit harder'. "I think I'm just going to take the bus home."

The two boys ride to school together, and on days when Calum can't drive Luke home, he either drives home or takes the bus back. He didn't plan ahead today.

"Why don't you ask Aria for a ride back?" Calum snorts, they don't live far from each other, it'll be better to ask for a ride than to sit on an thirty-minute long bus ride with a bunch of underclassmen.

"You're so funny." He rolls his eyes, "I'd rather walk than plead my case in front of an actual devil."

The locker room door bursts open, startling the two boys hiding in a corner. Calum ghosts the smoke, holding it in and shoving his vape into his pocket. The last thing they need is another 'vaping scandal' and routine bathroom checks for the next couple months. The senior class has been good, no issues with administration and no suspensions.

Luke and Calum are not going to be the reason that things go on red alert, with people getting called into the office for questioning and bag checks. It happened the year before, and during sophomore year.

"Hood!" A voice yells, standing from the door – teachers are not allowed in the student bathrooms, something about safety and privacy – "Get your ass out back on court! We're subbing in all our seniors and best players!"

Calum exhales, no smoke, "Sorry coach! My mum called! Can't ignore the woman that gave birth to me!" He lies, standing up and shooting Luke one look telling him to stay put and quiet. A signal for the blond to wait it out. Calum slips the metallic device into his bag before leaving the bathroom.

Turns out Calum can't get out of practice today, coaches are trying to include all the seniors on the team – as it's their last year, and they're some of the best players. Last year, the boys teams came first place in every sport, so did the girls. The school has a streak and reputation to uphold.
