Luke doesn't know how he got here.

Crawling on the floor in a dark blue room with neon lighting with walls and obstacles to hide him from his opponents. Calum – who was his partner – had been taken out of the game due to a girl with quick feet and balls, leaving him to fend for himself.

"Suck it Clifford!" Her voice echoes throughout the room, she's close and he's next. "Get out, you are eliminated!"

"You're so annoying!" Michael groans, storming off the playing field and walking right past the short wall Luke hides behind.

With Michael out of the game, it leaves Aria and him to defend their teams. How ironic. The last two people in the game are the two people that hate each other, the most stubborn and competitive people.

Luke's not going to lose. He can't risk losing another fight to Aria.

So, he ducks down, and approaches the edge of the wall peeking over the corner hoping to catch a glimpse of the girl and catch her off guard. He's convinced he's got the upper hand, Aria doesn't know where he is, he's been a ghost since the game started, a silent killer – as he refers to himself.

However, the girl is nowhere to be seen. Which results in one of two outcomes; one, he goes out looking for her and wins, or two, she's a step ahead. It's the latter, it's always the latter. Aria is always a step ahead when it comes to Luke, she has to think on her feet and follow through with quick plans.

The truth is, she caught a glimpse of blond hair from behind that wall and sprinted. She's on her toes, holding her breath as she circles around the room to sneak up on the boy. She slowly creeps along the wall, blending into the dark lights, keeping her plastic gun at the ready.

Luke is so focused on scanning the other side of the room, that he's forgotten to watch his back. He's making himself a perfect target.

Aria holds up her gun, pointing it to the back of the plastic vest. And shoots.

At the sound of his vest signaling his defeat, Luke spins around, seeing the girl hidden in the shadows with a victorious grin on her face. "You're dead!" She yells, happy that she did not give Luke the satisfaction of beating her. "Suck my dick, Hemmings!"

Luke can't believe it. He let his guard down, and forgot to watch his back. Not to mention, it was such an easy win for her, she barely had to try. "That's not fair! I wasn't ready!" He groans.

"Yeah, you're right, it wasn't a fair fight." Aria shrugs, "Rookies shouldn't play with the big leagues, hey, I heard there's a birthday party going on next door, maybe you should join the kids considering you're at the same level." She teases.

At the sound of her taunting words, his cheeks flush with anger. Of course, Aria is going to act like a complete child and rub her mediocre victory in his face. He clenches his fists, ready to retaliate with a snarky remark of his own, but he decides against it. He doesn't want to stoop to her level.

Instead, he takes a deep breath and tries to calm himself down. "You got lucky," he says through gritted teeth. "It won't happen again."

Aria just laughs in response. "Sure, sure," she says, still wearing that smug grin. "Keep telling yourself that."

Luke can't help but roll his eyes. He knows that Aria is just trying to get a rise out of him, and he's not going to give her the satisfaction. Instead, he takes off his vest and hands it back to the attendant, ready to move on from the humiliating defeat.

Aria shrugs, following along, handing in her items and meeting back up with her friends. She appears behind Luke, "You still missing that leather jacket of yours?"
