Oblivious (Hailee Steinfeld/Reader/Elizabeth Olsen)

Part 2

The camping trip was soon set in motion. Y/N had given Delilah a week to get her things from the house before it goes on the market. They were meeting Jeremy at his place before they drove up to meet everyone at the Nature Reserve. 

"Are you excited Y/N?" Jeremy asked them as they drove. 

"Yeah." They breathed as they concentrated on the road. "It will be good to just have some free time."

"We can go fishing too, just like when we were kids." Jeremy suggested making Y/N smile thinking of the fond memories. 

"I would like that." They said with a smile. When they stopped at a red light, Y/N took the chance to have a sip of their coffee before they continued the drive. Driving was always something that they found soothing. Especially when they were on the track getting some 200mph therapy. It was the one place they felt free. In control. 

When they arrived, everyone was just arriving. Scarlett, Lizzie and Chris Evans came in one car. RDJ, Hemsworth and Mark came in another. Hailee, Zendaya and Tom came in another. 

"Is this everyone?" Robert asked everyone as Y/N made their way  to greet Hailee with a tight hug, completely oblivious to Lizzie's jealous stare on the two.

"It's so good to see you Y/N." Hailee cheered as Y/N pulled away from her. 

"I saw your last concert and it was amazing. You were amazing." They told her as she smiled at them. Y/N was completely oblivious to the heart eyes she was giving them. 

"Thank you." She blushed as they walked away to greet everyone else. Jeremy took his chance to step beside her.

"Real smooth." He teased her as she just punched his arm making him laugh. He continued his teasing while Scarlett was trying to encourage Lizzie to make her move.

"Liz, you won't know until you try." She told her sternly.

"I can't Scar. They have just gotten out of a relationship." Lizzie told her through gritted teeth.

"And you are newly divorced. It's a match made in heaven." She told her as Lizzie just glared at her before he eyes found Y/N. "We have three weeks out here and then they go back to Florida in a few months for training. You need to at least make them aware of how you feel. You owe it to yourself." Lizzie just nodded knowing she is right. 

She watched as Y/N helped the guys set up the tents in awe. They took off their brown leather jacket that Lizzie bought them years ago when they first became friends. She loved seeing them wear it not knowing that it is their favourite jacket they own. 

"You're right." Lizzie said as she started towards them.  When she got close she was wanting to turn back but Scarlett was watching her every move like a hawk. 

"Hey Lizzie." Y/N greeted as they wiped the sweat from their brow. "Can you mind this. It's too warm to wear when I'm putting these up." They slipped off their jacket and placed it on her exposed shoulders. She blushed lightly at the action before she smiled and turned away. She walked back to Scarlett who had an amused look on her face as Hailee shot daggers her way. She never realised that she had competition but she won't be going down without a fight. 

"Are you ok Hayz?" Zendaya asked her as she saw her red eyes. 

"Do you think that Lizzie and Y/N are dating?" She asked her.

"No. Why?" She asked her friend.

"Because they seem couply to me. She's also wearing their jacket." Hailee pointed out as she watched both Lizzie and Scarlett. She was jealous of the relationship between the two even though it didn't go further than friends. "And she's wearing their jacket."

"They're friends Hailee. They've been best friends for years." Zendaya told her as Hailee kept her glare on the older woman. Meanwhile Scarlett could see the looks Hailee was sending their way, Lizzie was none the wiser as she watched Y/N. 

She admired their muscular arms through their tight black t shirt. Wishing they were around her. 

"I think you have competition Liz." Scarlett told her breaking her eyes away from Y/N to find Hailee's glare on them.

"What do you mean?" Lizzie asked her. 

"I think Hailee also likes Y/N." She told her as she soon realised herself. She wasn't the only one who had been caught under Y/N Renner's spell. "I think you might want to be quick."

Lizzie watched as Hailee approached Y/N who was struggling with the tent since the boys decided to run off. 

"Do you need a hand Y/N?" Hailee asked them with a soft smile which Y/N easily returned.

"Sure." They replied as she helped with the poles and connecting them through the fabric. Lizzie and Scar watched the whole thing. The laughs the two shared as they set up the tent before moving on to the other. 

By the time the boys all came back with crates of beer and snacks. Y/N had the tents set up for everyone. Lizzie walked up to Y/N who was sat on a log as everyone made a campfire. 

"Hey you." She greeted them with a soft smile. She looked at them with such adoration which they were completely clueless. 

"Hey." Y/N smiled up at her. 

"You look like you need to cool down." She told them as they smiled.

"And how would I do that?" They asked her. 

"Well." She sat down beside them. "There is a lake nearby. We can go for a swim." She suggested as they nodded in agreement standing up holding their hand out for her to take.

"Lead the way." They said as she took their hand. She glanced over at Scarlett who gave her a wink as she watched the two disappear.

"So how are you really?" She asked them as she held their arm.

"I'm ok I guess." They sighed. "I just feel like I don't deserve to be happy at all." They confided in her. Lizzie's heart broke seeing them still heart broken.

"What is your dream woman like?" She asked them as they neared the lake as Y/N thought as they both stripped down to their underwear.

"They would have to be loyal above all." They said as they walked into the water together. Enjoying the coolness takeover their bodies. "Someone who cherishes the small moments with each other as I do. Someone who isn't afraid of following their heart and going after what they want in life." They paused before they finished. "Someone who shares the same dream of having a family like I do."

"I'm sure you'll find her." Lizzie told them softly as they smiled at her. 

"I thought I found that someone in Delilah." They told her. "But that clearly didn't work out."

"She isn't worth your time and feelings Y/N." Lizzie spoke softly as Y/N nodded. "You never know, she could be standing right in front of you." Y/N just smiled at their friend before they dove under the water and dragged Lizzie with them earning a squeal. They both didn't realise that Hailee had followed them and watched with jealousy burning in her eyes at the sight of the two friends.
