Arthur Leywin POV

I adjusted my tiny backpack for the tenth time, standing next to Mom as we approached the hostel. Rimuru kept shooting me amused looks - probably because I couldn't stop fidgeting with excitement. Look, I might have the mind of a grown man, but meeting adventurers is cool at any age, okay?

"Nervous?" Rimuru whispered, grinning.

"Just calculating escape routes in case they try to pinch our cheeks," I muttered back.

Dad had told us stories about the Twin Horns countless times - their adventures, close calls, and feats. Now, watching him practically bounce toward his old companions, he looked more like an excited kid than we did.

"REYNOLDS!" A booming voice nearly made me jump out of my skin. A red-haired man with a spear - Adam, I remembered - grabbed Dad in a headlock. "You actually reproduced! Successfully!"

Mom coughed pointedly.

"I mean, uh, lovely children, Alice!" Adam backpedaled, making Rimuru snicker beside me.Adam, had fiery red hair tied up in a loose ponytail, giving off a bit of a wild, carefree vibe. His eyes were bright and constantly twinkling with mischief. And of course, I couldn't miss the distinctive scar that stretched across his nose and cheeks.

Before I could process what was happening, the world turned soft and dark. Very, very soft. And kind of suffocating.

"AREN'T THEY JUST PRECIOUS?"

Ah. This must be Angela. And these must be her... assets. Currently smothering me.

Peeling my face away from what felt like a memory foam death trap before she suffocated me in those gigantic breasts, I took a good look at the woman who was trying to kill me. Boy was she pretty. I mean, while not as pretty as my mother, she gave off the whole "royal princess" vibe with her long blond hair that came to a curl at the ends and radiant green eyes that drooped slightly.

'Help... can't... breathe...' I mentally broadcasted to Rimuru, who was absolutely no help, doubling over with laughter.

"Angela, you're killing Rey's kid," a deep voice rumbled, and I felt myself being lifted like a kitten. Looking up (and up, and up), I met the gentle eyes of what could only be Durden Walker. Despite his intimidating size, he adjusted my clothes with surprising gentleness.
