Sylvia POV

The air shifted peculiarly around him, like reality itself was bending to accommodate his existence. From the moment our paths crossed, I knew this child was fundamentally wrong - not in a manner that suggested danger, but in a way that defied the natural laws I'd known for centuries.

Watching him move through his training exercises, I observed how mana responded to his presence. Unlike the crude, forceful way most humans commanded mana, his control was instinctive, elegant - almost primal. The mana particles danced around him like eager servants, weaving through his movements in patterns I'd only seen among the ancient dragons of Epheotus.

But it was his mastery over Aether that truly shattered my understanding. Aether, the fundamental force that even the mighty Indrath clan took decades to comprehend, flowed around him like water finding its natural course. He didn't just control it; he existed in perfect harmony with it.

My attempts to peer into his memories met an unprecedented resistance. Not the chaotic barrier of an untrained mind, but something... intelligent. Something that watched back. Each probe was met with elegant deflection, like trying to grasp smoke with bare hands. In all my years, I'd never encountered such a defense mechanism.

The world itself seemed to acknowledge his otherworldly nature. Space bent subtly in his presence, reality rippling like the surface of a disturbed pond. Mana and Aether intertwined around him in impossible patterns, creating a symphony of power that should have been beyond any mortal's capability.

Looking at him was like trying to reconcile two conflicting truths. His physical form - a child barely four years old - contradicted the ancient wisdom in his eyes, the careful measure of his words, the weight of his presence. He moved with the calculated grace of someone who had lived countless lifetimes, yet maintained the genuine curiosity of youth.

Initially, I had planned to pass on my will, my legacy, to this extraordinary being. But watching him, I realized he had no need for such guidance. He already possessed knowledge that surpassed even my understanding. His brother, Arthur, would benefit more from my inheritance.

I had accepted my fate, embraced the inevitability of my wound's fatal progression. The corruption spreading through my essence wasn't something that could be healed - it was a fundamental destruction of what made me who I was. Or so I believed.

Yet here he stood now, this impossible child, offering hope with those ancient eyes and that deceptively young smile. "Ciel has found a way to save you," he said, and for the first time in decades, I felt something I'd thought long dead - possibility.

What manner of being could so casually offer salvation from a death sentence that even the Asuras couldn't prevent? What power lurked behind that childish facade? As I stood there, caught between my acceptance of death and this unexpected lifeline, I realized that despite all my observations, I still hadn't scratched the surface of the mystery that was Rimuru Leywin.

Rimuru POV

The crystalline lights cast shadows across Sylvia's face as she processed my words. Her red eyes flickered between hope and disbelief, the wound on her chest pulsing with its ominous glow.

"Save me?" Her voice carried centuries of weariness. "This corruption has resisted every healing attempt, every ancient magic I know. What makes you so certain?"

I met her gaze steadily, letting my confidence show. "Because I have something no one else has - Ciel and my own unique abilities." The plan was already forming in my mind, each piece falling into place with precise calculation.

Sylvia's brow furrowed, concern etching deeper lines around her eyes. "And my pursuers? The moment they sense my survival, they'll come. Not just for me, but for everyone around me." Her hand unconsciously moved to where her egg was hidden.

"Doun't worry about that," I explained, watching her expression shift from worry to curiosity. "You'll still give Arthur your will as planned. But then..." I paused, knowing the next part would be difficult to hear. "You'll need to destroy your physical form."

"What?" The shock in her voice was evident.

"Let me finish," I raised my hand gently. "Before that happens, I'll establish a soul corridor - think of it as a direct link between our essences. When your body disperses, your soul will have a clear path to my imaginary Space. You'll exist within my imaginary Space, safe and hidden, until we can ensure your enemies are no longer a threat."

Her eyes widened slightly as she processed the technical aspects. "A soul corridor? That's..."

"Is something I can do," I assured her.

A hint of a smile touched her lips, though concern still lingered in her eyes. "And you're comfortable with that? Having me... inside your mind? Witnessing everything?" Her tone shifted slightly, taking on a teasing edge. "Even your private moments?"

The tension broke as I couldn't help but laugh. "I never took you for such a voyeur, Sylvia. Should I be concerned about your hidden tendencies?"

"Hey!" She tried to look offended, but a smile crept through. "I'm being serious here!"

"So am I," I countered, though my own smile remained. "But yes, I've considered all aspects. Your presence won't interfere with my daily life, and more importantly..." I let my tone grow serious again, "it means you'll live to see your child grow up."

The mention of her child brought back the gravity of the moment. Sylvia's expression softened, vulnerability showing through her usual composed facade. "You really believe this will work?"

I stepped closer, taking her hands in mine. "I know it will. Trust me, Sylvia. Let me help you fight fate this time."
