Rimuru POV

As I slowly woke up from my peaceful slumber, the morning sunshine flooded my cozy bedroom, casting a warm golden glow that instantly put me at ease. I let out a satisfying yawn, stretching my limbs and feeling all the tension melt away. The sun's rays gently kissed my skin, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready to kick-start the day with a calm and contented spirit.

Last night, I sat with my little brother, Arthur, trying my best to comfort him and ease his restless mind. I affectionately stroked his hair and whispered reassuring words, but it made me sad to see him carrying the weight of his past experiences. It was like he had this heavy cloak of memories that held him back from fully embracing the present. It broke my heart to witness his struggle because I knew how hard it can be to find joy and meaning in life when you're haunted by the ghosts of your past.

Being the older brother, I just want Arthur to live in the present and not be burdened by the past or the uncertainties of the future. I want him to recognize how precious these moments are, how they slip by unnoticed if we're not paying attention.

But sometimes, I worry that I unintentionally contributed to his detachment from the beauty of life. He's a brilliant mind, always absorbing knowledge and strengthening his intellect, but he often overlooks the simple joys that surround him. He forgets to truly experience and appreciate life's pure pleasures.

Lost in my thoughts, I was gently jolted back to reality by a soft "Hmm" sound. I looked down and saw that Ciel had snuggled up next to me, peacefully asleep and wrapped in cozy bliss. Her serene expression was just too adorable, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth and affection towards her.

After our recent date, Ciel needed a few days to get back to her usual self. She could easily get embarrassed, and I found it endearing to see her blush. Exploring her own emotions was something new for her, considering she used to be just a skill without any ego. That's why I held back from confessing my love for her. Even a little teasing or an affectionate nickname would make her flustered, so I wanted to give her time to sort out her thoughts. As for me, my own feelings have been a jumble since I arrived in this world.

I closed my eyes and let out a heavy sigh, trying to shake off my inner turmoil. When I opened my eyes, I found Ciel gazing at me, having just woken up herself. There was no embarrassment this time, just a confident gaze as she met my eyes. Without saying a word, I gently cupped her soft cheeks in my hands, feeling the warmth transfer from her skin to mine.

Getting closer, I planted a tender kiss on her forehead, and her face lit up with a contented smile. Silence enveloped us, bringing a sense of peace and a break from the chaotic world outside. Finally, I spoke, my voice soft and gentle. "Good morning, Ciel."

Ciel's smile grew wider, as if she had been eagerly waiting to hear those words. "Good morning, Master!" she happily replied in our serene bedroom.

"You sure do love your sleep, huh, Ciel?" I playfully chuckled, teasing her a bit.

Ciel nodded, then rested her head on my chest, letting out a soft sigh. "Sorry for sleeping so much. I can understand now why you enjoy sleeping, Master."

I couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle, my fingers tracing the delicate contours of Ciel's face with gentle strokes. The soft curve of her nose and the smoothness of her cheeks brought a warm smile to my lips. "No need to apologize, Ciel. I'm glad you got some good rest. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters."

Sylvia interrupted the moment between us, her voice cutting through the tranquility. "Isn't it time to get up?"

A mischievous grin played on my lips as I teasingly responded, still holding Ciel close. "Are you feeling a little jealous?"
