Love For Too Many

Chapter 45

I wake up curled against Sev's chest. The morning light barely filtering in through the windows. Sev is snoring lightly and Wendy is curled up under about 5 blankets and is an absolute mess with her hair everywhere.

I chuckle to myself at her and then lean up and kiss Severus's cheek. He stirs and then looks down at me. He smiles happily and carefully runs a finger down my jaw. Absorbing all my features like he hasn't seen me in years.

He leans down and softly places a kiss to my lips. "Good morning." He whispers, barely audible.

"Good morning my love, I miss this." He nods in agreement and then pulls me closer as if I can fit into his skin.

We snuggle and give each other small loving kisses every little while. He keeps one hand on or near my stomach the whole time. He's so protective of our little girl and it's adorable. I knew he would be after seeing him with Wendy but it's amazing to see his love for this little miracle.

When Wendy stirs and smiles at us we all get up and head back to our room. Once we're all dressed in our clothes for the day we go to the Great Hall for breakfast and Wendy sits on my lap and I sit beside Severus. Not many people are up this early so there are only a few people scattered throughout the tables.

I smile at Sev as I take a bite of my eggs and he chuckles at me. He's so adorable.

Once we finished eating and Wendy was dropped off at daycare we went to our office and began to clean up the pillows and blankets so that we could get some work done.

We got the office cleaned and made it to class 10 minutes before it started.

"I've missed you and I've missed this." I say as I scan over all the desks and all the potions. "I felt awful for leaving you to fend for yourself." I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

He admired me and looked deep into my eyes making me blush. "I'm sorry I left you like that. It must have been awful to see me like that and then not being able to show any emotion because I was hurting."

A single year rolled down his cheek and I brushed it away softly. "I love you so much Severus Tobias Snape, you are the most amazing man I've ever met and you deserve the world."

He leans in and kisses me softly. "I love you so much too and I appreciate you saying that so much. I didn't know how to handle what I was feeling and I didn't know how to help you. I felt so lost. I will always be here for you no matter what okay."

"Okay." He kissed me again and then I hugged him so tight.

"I can't wait to be Mrs Severus Snape." I whisper and he chuckles.

"Don't start talking like that now, the class is going to be here any minute." I just winked at him and laughed.

"You can be quick."

"Oh hush you. You'll get what you want later for as long as you can withstand it and as long as you want it." Truthfully I didn't think I could handle that right now but I loved teasing him.

The bell rung only 2 minutes later and class began within 4 minutes.

I missed my students so much and they brought cards and banners and I received so many fist bumps and hugs throughout the class day.

It all really cheered me up and the day went really well. We ended the day by the fire with hot cocoa and marshmallows and a snuggle pile in our room. It was so wonderful and cozy.
