My dad stood beside me, my mom seated at the front with Clint and Henley, Minerva walking just ahead of Wendy, Wendy swinging her little basket like a weapon, and the man of my dreams standing in front of a beautiful arch.

My dress a slight off-white. A fitted yet simple silk gown. My bouquet a mix of our two favorite flowers. A small yet detailed veil adorned my hair. It was perfect.

"Are you sure about this, isn't he a criminal?"

"Yes I'm sure dad. Thank you for checking in on me but I've never been happier. Also, he may be a criminal but he's a good guy, he saved us all."

"Whatever makes you happy my little butterfly."

Minerva, with Wendy seated on her lap, joined Poppy on Severus's side, my father joined my mother on my side, and I joined Severus at the end of the aisle. A muggle man who knew none of us officiated the small wedding. With most of the Wizarding World thinking both of us dead, we kept the wedding party small.

We exchanged our once mentioned vows back to each other this time for real with all the love we could share: chapter 31

"Severus Snaps, I promise to be your safe place, to be your love, and to be your home. To nurse you back to health when you're sick and when you're faking being sick because you stayed up too late reading nonsense. I promise to be there for you whenever and wherever you need and to never lose sight of just how much you have done for all of us. Forever and always."

Y/n Y/l/n, I will forever and always be a father figure to our girls, to hold their needs and yours above all else and make you the light of my life. I will choose you again and again every day of our lives from dawn to dusk everyday. And finally, I promise to take care of you in all your needs. Never to hurt you or traumatize you. Just to love and hold you forever."

He slid on my ring and I slid on his. With a dramatic dip and kiss, Severus officially is my husband.

We didn't bother to book a separate venue, instead we danced under the trees with the sunlight streaming through, then taught my mother what a few muggle songs were.

When all was said and done, my parents took the girls to our cottage for grandparent time and Severus and I took off for our honeymoon.

Apparently Minerva and Poppy went on a little trip as well, I got the details as soon as we both returned.

As we approached our destination, Severus sweeped me off my feet and carried me into our room for the duration of the trip. Gently setting me on the bed, he kissed me passionately. I groan into his mouth and the dress I was wearing a moment ago became a scarf.

Like a starved animal, Severus devours his meal of me and the two of us groan in pleasure as we take the ever growing edge off. After we finish the first time, Severus up and leaves me sitting on the bed.

He walks out and into the kitchen area with little to no explanation. I sit waiting as I catch my breath.

Puzzled on the bed and waiting for his return, I threw his shirt (still hanging off the side of the bed) on. It wasn't until he came back with two cups of tea and a book under his arm that I became truly confused.

"I seemed to have stumbled upon a book in my spare time of recovering darling."

"Oh?"

"I was wondering if you'd do me the honors of participating. With a little something called 69."

I outright laughed and teasingly scolded him for reading a trashy magazine type book.

"We've done it before darling but I would certainly be willing to entertain that idea."

"I think it would be a marvelous way to begin and end our honeymoon story."

"I see." I teased.

When our week was up, we returned back to our cottage that only the four of us live in now. Clint has returned home but visit on the regular and it's a peaceful way to live... most of the time.

The house was a wreck. We were only barely through the brush and thicket before it clicked that the magical barrier to the cottage was gone. We could see the house and it was in shambles.

We ran as fast as possible throwing our belongings on the front stoop. Wendy, holding her dolls, was sitting happily in her destroyed room.

"Bug, where is everybody?" I ask as cheerfully as I could managed.

"I dunno. I think they went for a walk after they scolded me for having a "tantrum." Said they'd be right back. I was told to sit on the back porch but I wanted to play with my dolls."

"Butterfly! Is that you?" I heard my mom call.

"Yeah mom! In here."

"It's not structurally sound. You should get Wendy and come back out. Everyone is okay, dad is a little sore though. A beam fell on his leg but Wendy just used her magic to lift it off of him."

"This isn't good at all." Severus whispered to me. He scooped up Wendy and her dolls and we headed outside.

"I know that's not normal. With Dane and all... you should get it checked out by a wizarding doctor or something." My father warned.

"Too dangerous..." Severus pondered for a moment. "We'll have to train her to use her powers now."

"She's so young though." I stammer.

"We don't have much of a choice darling."

Wendy just smiles at us, unaware of how drastically her life is changing before her eyes. If we don't get her powers under control before she's old enough to go to Hogwarts, she'll forever be the villain in the next story.
