Uncle Vincent and Aunty Tabitha lead us to a booth in the Auction House with no one in it. I knew this day would come eventually, it's time to see if I can change events without making them worse.

Dad was working to make sure nothing happened tonight at the auction, so it was Arthur, Mom, Aunty Tabitha, Uncle Vincent, Lilia, Ellie and I in the booth alone. I knew that sooner or later the King and Queen would arrive.

Ellie was on my mother's lap, Arthur was sitting alone with Sylvie, and I was sitting on the edge of the booth looking below us at the ground gathering for the auction. It made me realize how important the Helstea's were.

"Vincent, so these are the guest that you were talking about." A manly voice was heard throughout the room, but I zoned on the people below.

"I hope you don't mind, your majesty." At the sound of Uncle Vincent's voice change. I turned and noticed that the royal family had arrived. The first person I looked at though, was Sebastian, the one that would go after Sylvie.

I noticed my mom, with Ellie in her arms, and Arthur next to her, bowing to the royal family. I just looked away, no one seemed to notice me. I also have no clue how to handle being in the presence of royalty. I know how Arthur did it in the books, but this is real now.

"These are the Leywins, friends of ours." Uncle Vincent spoke again.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Leywin." The King still spoke in such a manly voice. "There is no need for formalities we are all here for the same reasons."

"Thank you, your majesty." My mother must have started to look around and noticed that I was still looking down at the people. "Oh my, Veer! Come greet King Blaine." What?

"Kyu." Sylvie jumped up onto Arthur's head as I was walking toward them, which was good because everyone's attention turned away from me. I stood next to my mom's leg.

"Is that bond?" King Blaine asked.

"Yes, I bonded with her, right after she hatched." Arthur grabbed Sylvie from above his head. "Sylvie say hi."

"Kyu!"

Sebastian's eyes were lit up. "That bond!" He ran up to Arthur. "May I take a closer look?"

"Not here Sebastian." King Blaine ordered, and he backed away. King Blaine then turned to me. "And who might this be?" Really? He didn't say anything to Ellie.

I bowed my head. "It's a pleasure to meet you, King Blaine, my name is Virion, but people call me Veer."

"Haha, like the King, from the elves?" I nodded my head. "A respectful name, it's a pleasure to meet you as well." I couldn't tell if he was offended or not.

I know that King Blaine and Queen Priscilla will turn their backs on Arthur in the future, but they are a very nice King and Queen. Even though they don't look it, they look kind of standoffish.

"Veer is my youngest, Arthur with the bond is my oldest, and this is Ellie, the middle child." My mother smiled as she spoke about us.

"Such a lovely family." Queen Priscilla said.

"Thank you." My mom bowed again, as we all moved to the couch overlooking the event. I was sitting next to Arthur. Uncle Vincent left however, due to the fact that he needs to run the event.

"Mrs. Leywin, has Arthur awakened as a mage yet, our son Curtis and our daughter Kathyln plan on attending Xyrus when the time is right. It would be nice for them to have someone there they know, since they don't get out of the palace that often." Queen Priscilla asked worried that their children wouldn't have any friends, but who wouldn't be nice to the King and Queen's children.
