(Two Weeks Later)

I fell to the ground, spun, beheaded a soldier, plunged my sword into another's core, had blood raining down from the sky, piercing through the armor of the enemy that numbered over seven hundred before the start of the fight.

There were about one hundred soldiers, and sadly, we lost some of ours, Callias wanted our men to fight, and I figured that I should let them. Callias was leading our force of one hundred men, that came from the side, while I attacked from a different angle.

I could feel that Callias was alive still, which was good, the Alacryans were too busy focusing on the me, the loan soldier, wreaking havoc throughout their force. I jump over a blade coming for my head, dodged a spear in the air, and then landed on the ground, cutting off a soldier's arm, then killed him by having his blood explode.

I manipulated the blood in the air, and shot it out into the crowd, conjured an ice dagger, through it into a guy's throat, deflected a blade, deflected another, then spun and sent my blood sword into a female soldier's head, killer her.

I pushed outwards, and the force I used had the blood in my enemies exit the back of their bodies, killing over thirty of them. I watched as Callias's fire sword sliced through one of the last enemies.

The last ten fell to their knees, pleading, surrendering, and I rolled my eyes, I rather just kill them, why would they surrender. I conjured a giant ball of blue fire, causing everyone to look up at it, then I shot it at the portal frame, destroying it upon impact.

I faced Callias who was now holding his blade to a soldier's throat, looking at me. "What should we do with them?" I deactivated blood monarch but kept blood oath activated. "We can't kill them." He sheathed his sword and placed it in his ring.

A Division of soldiers led by someone I don't know, was currently heading our way, Elder Virion was sending them to regroup with us, it was a smaller division, but not as small as ours. It numbered in the thousands; I could feel them getting closer to our camp.

I sighed. "Honestly, I don't care." I turned toward the elf staring at me. "Melody, send word to Commander Virion, tell him we have ten Alacryans here, surrendering to us, well, me." I killed most of them.

"I'll handle it." Melody answered.

"Thanks." I replied. "Callias, let Melody take care of them." I told him and looked up at the hole the demolition team created. "Have everyone meet back at the camp, everyone is dead here, there is no point in staying." I paused for a second, and then went on. "Have someone collect our dead, and bring them back, we have to respect our dead." I knew this would happen, and this is why I wanted to fight by myself, but I guess a few dead isn't awful, it got some of them experience.

"Okay." Callias answered, and I flew up into the air, and landed near the conjurers and archers that backed me up in that fight. "We are heading back, victory is ours." I nodded, and they all started to cheer, this was getting normal for them.

We were close to the Elven Kingdom now, I would say another week or two out, maybe a little longer before he hit the border, but we will see. I started to walk towards our camp in the distance through our soldiers, they cleared the path as I did.

I was drenched in blood like usual, and to be honest, I was tired, we've been doing this for the past three weeks, finding small forces, and taking them out. This was the fourth Alacryan camp we took out, and the biggest, but only by two hundred.

I think we need to slow down though, eventually they'll see us coming, and have a trap ready for me there. We know what Agrona is capable of, and we know that their force is much larger, and they have way more mages.
