Virion Leywin
My eyes slowly opened as I woke up after the potion put me to sleep, it was weird, but I felt nauseated. Everything was blurry at first and it took me a couple of seconds to recognize everyone in the room.
In it was my father, mother, Ellie, Arthur, and Sylvie who was lying in the corner of the room. My mother, who was on my side, noticed that I was awake first. "He's up, Veer, how are you feeling?"
Everyone turned to me, I was feeling sick for some reason, but who cares. "I'm fine." I answered, looking down at my arm and leg, they were wrapped in some sort of fabric, a different one from before, I wasn't feeling any pain at all, which was good, most likely the potions doings. "Truly."
"My poor boy." My mother was now sitting next to me on the bed, holding my hand. "I thought you said you were done coming to the medical wing."
"Haha." I laughed as I thought back to the countless times I was here. "I did, this time though, I really didn't have too, my bones would have healed on their own."
"Veer, that is how that works, but you still need rest and some medical attention." My father said and smiled at me. "But it is good to see you, we heard about the battle with the Alacryan force, and how it was your plan to defeat them."
"Yeah, it might have been his plan, but he still ended up like this." Ellie added and shook her head looking at me.
"Hey, Veer did an excellent job." Arthur said, and then went on. "I already spoke with Elder Virion." He paused for a second, then said another name. "And Rahdeas about what happened."
When he said Rahdeas, my anger built up, but I held back my aura and bloodlust, knowing it would suggest something to my parents. "Okay, good, I don't need to recap that day at all then."
"It looks like, when you are healthy, you and I are going to Ashber." He said, giving me a smile, which meant only one thing, this was a plan to scuff out Rahdeas, perfect, but if Cadell is there, we might be in trouble again, however, I doubt it will be him this time.
"Really?" My mother said questioningly, holding my hand as she looked at Arthur.
"Why?" My father asked him, curious on why we would be going there. I was surprised that Arthur was coming out and telling our parents where we were going.
"We believe that there may be some locals there, that have information on Alacryans." Arthur said, which I believe was a lie, because I don't think there is. I do believe there is like a slave shop, oh shit, yeah, there is, and it's run by Sebastian, the first person I used my blood magic on, that's funny actually. "So, Veer and I are going to go check it out."
"Oh, doesn't sound so dangerous." My mother said, as she smiled at me. "I don't want you breaking anymore bones."
"I can't make any more promises, but I shouldn't on that journey." I admitted, even though there was still a chance. Sylvie got up from the spot where she was laying out, and made her way over to me, she jumped onto the bed, and snuggled up on my leg. "Where you here the whole time, Sylvie?"
The fox looked up at me, and just closed her eyes; it was Arthur who responded. "She was pretty worried about you." He smiled at me, and then added. "She refused to come with me to the council room."
"Haha." I laughed, but Sylvie ignored us. "So, how's it going with you two, anything happen out there?" I asked my mother and father, not truly knowing, I kind of forget what they did during the war, I know for a fact they are at the wall incident, but that's obvious.
That's when the door opened, and Tessia walked in. "Oh, he's awake." She said as she made her way over to where Arthur was sitting and sat down next to him. "It's good to see you up, Veer, your injuries were pretty serious for a normal person, but I know you already want to get up and get going."
