(One Week Later)

The carriage was here for me, parked outside the mansion. I was all packed up and ready to go.

"Come here." My mother said with open arms. I walked up and hugged her. "Make sure to behave yourself."

"I know, mom. I love you." She didn't let me go, she just kept on holding me. "Mom, I have to go."

As she let go of me, my father picked me up. "Get stronger champ."

"I will dad."

"Have fun Veer." Aunty Tabitha smiled at me, as my father placed me back on to the ground.

I said my goodbye to Uncle Vincent this morning, before he went to the Auction House. He was very enthusiastic about me training with Elder Virion.

Arthur stepped in front of me. "Bye Veer." He bent down and hugged me, then whispered in my ear. "Say hi to Tess for me." I gave him a smile.

Lilia was next to him. "Bye Lilia." She walked up and hugged me.

"Don't do anything stupid there, Veer." Lilia told me.

"I won't." I chuckled.

I walked up to Ellie, she was crying. "Bye, big sister."

"Bye, little brother." We hugged, and I made my way to the carriage. My mother walked beside me.

"I packed all your favorite clothing, and I threw in some snacks for the trip." She smiled and we stopped in front of the carriage steps. The elven guard was waiting for me. "One more kiss before you go." She bent down and kissed my forehead. "Be safe."

"I will."

I waved and got into the carriage, no one was in here. It looked like I had the carriage to myself. That's pretty sweet.

The guards got on to the front of the carriage and we started to move, I was going to be sitting in here for a while. I pushed mana into my mana ring, something Arthur gave me before I left, and pulled out the Beast Core.

It still had a shit ton of mana inside of it, so I started to absorb it.

When my parents agreed to let me go to Elenoir, I bonded with the Beast Will that night. It felt weird, like there was now something slithering inside of my chest, and the urge grew for something I couldn't put my finger on yet.

I'll tell you though, my confidence skyrocketed from bonding with it. My strength with water attribute mana increased exceptionally each day. I truly felt like I was going to be able to make a difference eventually.

The only, and biggest problem was that I was still scared to kill. I don't know what will happen when I am put into a position where I am forced to kill to stay alive. Will I be able to do it or not, I don't know?

I took a peek at my core and noticed that I was in the solid orange stage. Another thing that caught my attention was that there was water wrapping around my core, like a protective barrier. I'm pretty sure it was the Sea Serpent trying to eat away at my core because of how powerful it was, but I wasn't completely sure. No need to worry about it, maybe it was just extra mana I could use in a fight if I had too.

The carriage stopped and I could hear the guards talking to someone, but I didn't know who it was. Then the carriage door opened, and an elf walked in. He sat down without saying a word to me. The elf looked to be around Arthur's age, maybe a little older or younger I couldn't exactly tell.

That was until he smiled. "So, you're the brother of my rival, I'm sure you know who I am." I looked at the elf completely confused; Arthur had a rival in Elenoir? Arthur could kick this kid's ass. "Introduce yourself youngling."
