Lincoln's POV
After the meeting with Chiron I went to my shift in the infirmary the day was pretty boring mostly just checking in on patients getting them ice packs or food until around dinner time.
I was doing my rounds and I was checking in on Nicola when I saw his eyes twitch "Nico can you hear me" I said shaking his shoulder he groaned like I'd woken him from his afternoon nap. "He's awake" Leo asked standing up from the chair next to the bed.
"I think so.. Nicola" I shook his shoulder again then he shot up and started screaming "GET AWAY FROM ME" he started to throw anything is his reach at Leo and kept screaming "GET OUT GET OUT I DONT WANT TO SEE YOU" jasper came running in avoiding a pillow that was thrown his way then grabbed Leo's arm and started to drag him out I helped.
"What happened?" Mads asked Jasper "he woke up in a panic attack he started throwing things at Leo and screaming" I told her "oh but he's okay" she asked "well we know he's alert and his motor functions are intact so yes he's okay" I said
"Anyway my shift is over so have fun with that" I said patting Mads on the shoulder then walking out the infirmary.
I walked over to the hades cabin to go see if Wylan wanted to hang out and I saw they were already on the front porch talking to Thalia and Casey I walked over to see what they were doing "what up guys"I asked then Thalia and Casey got up.
"You don't have to decide now take some time" Thalia said to Wylan then walked away. "What was that about" I asked "nothing" Wylan said in a weird tone
"Okayyy so wha-" I was going to ask her to hang out today but she cut me off "you know I gotta go sport Linc" then they ran off.
Well I've been avoiding it but I guess I could go build the desk I got. I went back to my cabin and started to put together the drawers "make sure your using the right screwdriver" Mads said walking back to her bunk to grab something I just ignored her I knew what I was doing.
A couple hours later I was still struggling to get the dam screws in Mads was back at the cabin for her lunch break and came over to see how I was doing on the desk
"You sure your using the right screwdriv-" she started and I cut her off "Yes I'm sure now go away" she reached for the screw and I slapped her hand away
"You don't have to be a dick I was just trying to help!" She said "Well I don't want your help" after I said that she walked out of the cabin slamming the door behind her.
I decided to just finish the desk later it was to much work and I wanted to see if Wylan was still busy. I found them, their cabin was doing archery wit the hunters.
"Mind if I join" I asked "Actually ye-" one of the hunters started to say before Thalia covered their mouth with her hand "sure why not" she said.
I took a bow and went next to Wylan "so what was that nothing about earlier" I asked
"Like I said nothing it doesn't concern you" they said "so we are keeping secrets from each other now I see" I said half joking they scoffed and went back to the activitie
"Come on just tell me" I said "fine Thalia asked me if I'd be interested in joining the hunters" they said
"And you said no right?" I asked "I said I'd think about it I mean it's a great opport-" she started saying "NO you can't you can't leave" that didn't quite come out as I wanted it to
"Why not it's an honour and I still haven't even decided yet" they argued "you're one of the only people who's nice to me you can't join the hunters I can't lose someone else" I didn't even realize how loud I was talking until I looked around and everyone was staring at me
