"Is that?" Leo asked
"Mhm...umm Dad?" I yelled
The kid isn't the chair across from Chiron turned slowly to face us.
"What are you talking about" Flowers asked taping my shoulder, I didn't even react I just ignored him the look of shock and the tears in Lester's eyes was more confusing then anything else at the moment
"Wait why are you here? Is this why the camp boarder is gone? Do you know why the doors of death are open?" I asked frantically but got no answer, instead Lesters eyes stayed watering as he looked to my right, I looked over and met eyes with my brother
The room had an awkward silence until lester abruptly got up from the chair and as he almost knocked it over ran towards Flowers trapping him in a hug which Flowers protested greatly
"Ew get the fuck off me, who even are you" Flowers complained as he tried to push Lester away
"That's dad" I tried to wishper but the silence of the room made my voice echo.
Lester went on for a while about "I can't believe you're alive" "my dearest child" "light of my life" yeah a lot of that...I'm not sure how much was true and how much was just emotional nonsense because he was sobbing by the end, it would've been nice to have even gotten a hello but I get it flowers is named after his favourite ex so he gets brownie points...but I actually survived (mostly) up to this point so I think I deserved some kind of recognition or attention.
"I forgot how similar you two looked" stated Leo with a grin
"And what does that say about you?" I snapped towards him, I then turned back to face my father
"Hey dad nice seeing you too...oh yeah life's been fine how's your...life if you could call it that...any new siblings I should be aware of...oh Leo's great thanks for asking" I spoke out loud not receiving any replies, kind of like In a movie which was my goal. It did catch his attention which was pretty hard to come by.
"My apologies...I was a little shocked to see my dead child alive hoped you'd understand a little more" he replied
"I died...twice actually never even got a get well soon card" I replied a little frustrated
"I think we are getting off corse of what's important" Chiron interrupted
"Yeahh..like who's the weirdo" Flowers asked
"That's your father" Chiron replied providing no context what so ever, flowers looked over to me and I mouthed I would explain later.
"Wait you died twice?" I heard Lester mumble, my gaze snapped back to him in shock
"YES TWICE! Once because of Thalia and the other time was the quest YOU sent us on to the UNDERWORLD which is probably what caused this whole mess" I screamed
"Ah yes I remember now (he did not) I remember Leo's father mentioned something about that but I wasn't quite listening, as for the quest..I never sent any except for the one to retrieve Sara of corse but to the underworld I did no such thing! If you don't mind me asking what was the prophecy" he asked so calm it was hard to believe it was Lester talking, I was still full of so many questions and had even more after what he'd just said.
"Wha-wait you didn't send that prophecy..who did...why WE DIED FOR 4 FUCKING MONTHES, w-we..we had no sunlight for 4 MONTHS! Do you understand what that does to children of Apollo!? And you're saying that wasn't you?" I asked
"Yes I'm well aware of the effects of low vitamin D" that's all he had to say!
I felt Leo grab my arm,seeing I was on the verge of either tears or tackling my father, he grabbed my arm and pulled me into the hallway to snap me out of it and made me take a step back
