March 8th 3pm ish ???
Look I knew what dying felt like, sadly I'd become quite familiar with that feeling but what I was completely oblivious too was what would happen after I died,
I mean yeah I knew I'd end up in front of Charon and that stuff and the underworld but I didn't know how it would look or feel getting there. Some people describe seeing a light some relive their memories it all depends on the person
There was no bright light, no sense of calm, I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or if i was reliving memories I'd forgotten about, I got scared my eyes wouldn't focus and I couldn't hear anything, I screamed out for people for anyone.
For the first time in a long time I called out for my dad. I screamed out if I could feel my own body I would've cried but I felt like I wasn't solid, I couldn't see couldn't hear and felt like my body had evaporated. I was floating but not in the nice calming way people describe to me it felt like I was stranded in space with nothing around, no stars, no planets, no sun, just empty nothing.
I could still feel though and gradually a felt a warm sensation growing around me and soon a light did appear but it didn't fill me with hope or peace it made me scared, I continued to scream out for my Father, my brother and..Leo
I didn't know what to do, the small light flickered like a raging fire but it felt so far away and I didn't want to go towards it but I felt like I needed to.
My mind was racing with a million thoughts but one stood out like it was calling to me;
"Please please please please Charlie wake up! Please you have to wake up"
Still unsure what was happening I started to recall this specific memory, the memory that has haunted me for years. Percy and Beckendorf had left to launch an attack on the princess andromeda and when camp found out what happened I ran away in denial. I had managed to find the scene almost a day after it had happened. The boat had been attacked in the middle of the ocean, I don't even remember how I managed to make it out there or how I managed to navigate through the Greek fire and debris from the ship.
I searched the area for hours looking for Charlie and when I was about to give up a crow flew down and dived straight into the water, I looked down and spotted a hinge chunk of debris stuck somewhere and stuck half under was the body of someone, I was splashing in the water trying to swim so much that I couldn't see clearly enough to identify anything but I took the chance and dove down, I forced my eyes open and blinked a few times to stop them from stinging but soon my eyes adjusted enough that I could push through.
I swam down and realized it was charlie, he looked rough he was fully limp, his eyes were shut, and he had many injuries all over. I swam back up just in time to breathe and after a few more trips down I managed to move the debris enough to drag Beckendorf up to the surface.
I was exhausted at this point and was not faced with the new issue of having to carry an almost 200 pound teenager on my back at age 14 and after swimming for almost three hours straight.
Finding land was easy, I followed the current and the waves and eventually made it to a beach thankfully no one was around but at the time I hadn't even cared if people were.
Dragging him onto land he was till unconscious and I debated calling camp for help but i decided against the idea knowing Michael was probably still bitter, so I feel over to my knees and checked his pulse
...nothing...
"No! No No! No You Can't!" I jumped into action trying to rummage through my bad searching for anything that could save him I couldn't find the ambrosia so I tried cpr instead
