March 13th
"Why always us" I complained
"No where to hide Demigods! Suns going down you're all out of luck" a voice hissed from the darkness
"Actually we have plenty of sun right here" Leo said poking my face causing a small flash of light to appear
"Leo be serious this could be dangerous" I said back, my eyes started to adjust to the dark room and I looked over and saw calypso pulling a crowbar out from her tote bag, I scanned the room I couldn't see very far but I could see a few feet in front of me and it wasn't actually that scary it was just a convenience store
"Uhh can we just leave.." I asked, suddenly the shelves started to shake violently causing everything on them to fall of and clash on the ground.
"Look what you did Nico" Leo said, this was actually the worst group ever to send on a quest nothing was going to be taken seriously.
A figure emerged from the darkness holding a torch, the figure skin was ghost pale and looked almost see through, as it walked in the room begun to reek of blood,
Leo did not wait for the figure to do anything, instead he just picked up cans of whatever he could grab and started chucking them at the figure.
The fugue caught one of the cans before speaking
"Absolutely no respect! You three shall perish and I will feast on your blood" the figure spoke, none of us replied, honestly I'd heard threats like that so much it didn't really phase me
"Are you a vampire?" Leo asked
"I suppose" the figure replied
"Nico roast this dude please" Leo turned to me still holding his next projectile, I reached my hands out and tried to find a source of light to use to expend, and after about twenty seconds of nothing happened I gave up
"Sorry I can't" I said
"Oh we'll plan F" Leo said placing his hand on the wall nearest to us, I wanted to ask what plan F was but I found out before I could even come up with the words too
"LEO! calypso and I can't breathe if the building is on fire!" I shouted
"Oh yeah...well fuck"
I ran around the room trying to find something to break through the walk with but there wasn't many useful weapons in the store and I hate to say it but my bow wasn't really gonna do much, of corse I'd left my sword in the car because I never bring it with me so out of muscle memory I forgot it.
"Leo get an axe or something" calypso suggested
"Oh yeah let me just pull an axe out of nowhere" Leo replied sarcastically
"She's right, use ur toolbelt" I added, as soon as Leo reached for his tool belt a huge gust of wind suddenly came slamming us against the nearby wall, thankfully the wind blew out the fire however it did not help the pain of being thrown against a wall
"Did you three think it would be that easy?" The figure growled
"Well...kinda yes actually" Leo replied, the comment seems to confuse the poor guy and the two went on for a while arguing which kinda made the figures whole "spooky" vibe not so scary, Calypso just seemed to watch in horror as Leo argued with a possibly dangerous figure and I sat there against the wall trying to fight to stay awake
