"Morning," the men smiled as Jackson carried Alice into the dining room.

"Good Morning," she smiled as he sat her down.

"We're having breakfast burritos," Luke said as he set a container of warm tortillas on the table.

"Here you go," Marc said handing Jackson two plates.

"Will Jasper be joining us?" Kota called from the kitchen.

"No, he is still on base," Jackson called out.

"Okay," Kota called out.

"So what did Officer Romeo want?" Alice asked as she watched Jackson fix her plate for her.

"He was calling to let you know that he had set up the profiles for the four dogs you told him about and to let him know when you pick them up because he found a vet that is willing to work with your business so he can set up appointments for the dogs," Jackson said as he place the plate down in front of her then started to reach for her hair to tie it back.

"Here," Gabe said removing a hair tie from his wrist.

"Thank you," Jackson said taking it and fixing her hair.

"How did your case go, Il Mio Cuore?" she asked after swallowing a bite.

"Exactly like we hoped," he smiled as he picked up his napkin and wiped her mouth.

"Good, I'm glad," she beamed at him.

"Does this mean you will be staying with us now?" Owen asked after taking a drink of his coffee.

"Yes," Jackson nodded. "I will be unpacking after breakfast. I'll be here as long as Alice is."

"And when will Jasper be arriving?" Axel asked.

"As soon as he is not needed on base anymore," Jackson said. "But since he is still in the military, he can be called back at any time."

"Isn't that hard?" Victor asked.

"Yes, but it's what he loves doing," Alice nodded. "It would be wrong to ask him to choose, the best thing we can do is support him in his passions, like he does ours."

"Exactly," Jackson nodded.

"When will you be getting the puppies?" Luke asked after a few moments of silence.

"Probably later today," Alice shrugged then winced.

"Careful," Jackson warned.

"Sorry," she softly smiled at him, "I forget."

"I know," he said. "Just be careful."

"I'm trying," she admitted. "Anyway, depending on how I am feeling it will be either later today or tomorrow. But I will be bringing one dog at a time so I can assess how they do in a car and also be able to slowly introduce them to the horses and sounds of being on a ranch. I need to assess each dog individually so I can make sure they are treated properly."

"Okay," Luke nodded.

"If you need any help, we're more than willing to help," Kota nodded. "The guys on the ranch as well."

"Thank you," Alice nodded.

"Awe man I missed breakfast, and it smells so good too!"

"Meine Liebe!" Alice squealed turning then wincing at the sudden movement.

"Careful!" Jasper scolded as he rushed to her side.

"Don't surprise me like that then," she pouted as he turned her chair and pulled her up so he could look at her back. "I'm okay," she shook her head. "Now let me give you a hug." He chuckled and hugged her tightly while growling. "Oh Meine Liebe," she sighed happily.

"I thought you were still on base," Jackson smiled as he hugged him once Alice pulled away.

"They let me leave since the soldiers are fast learners," Jasper explained.

"Yay," Alice beamed as he sat in her spot then pulled her into his lap. "Here, bite," she held out her burrito and he chuckled then took a bite.

"So good," he smiled once he swallowed.

"We have plenty, help yourself," Marc nodded as Luke got up and went to the kitchen then came back with a water bottle for him.

"Thanks," Jasper said taking it from him.

"It's a great morning now," she whispered to him as she held out her burrito for him to take another bite. He smiled and winked at her making her giggle.

"Behave you two," Jackson smirked as he watched them.

"What?" Alice smiled, "Now I can help unpack both of your things."

"Yes, you can," they said at the same time.

Multiple phones pinged including Alice's causing Jackson and Jasper to look at her confused. "Time for my medicines," she explained as Sean pushed his chair back and stood. He came back a few minutes later and held out a couple of pills to her.

"Thank you," she said as she took them then opened her mouth for him to see.

"Great," Sean nodded as he went back to his chair.

"Good girl," Jackson and Jasper said at the same time making her smile.

Everyone went back to eating and once they were done cleaning up Jasper carried Alice up to their room while Jackson got his bags and followed. They shut the door and Jasper kissed her with everything in him. "I can't," she giggled when she pulled back. Jackson gripped her chin and kissed her as well. "I can't," she tried saying again.

"Because of your wound?" Jasper asked groaning.

"Yes," she nodded but smiled, "but you know I love to watch."
