Alice entered the house and frowned when she saw Jackson's laptop open to flight schedules. "You're leaving?" she asked as fear filled her stomach.
"I have to," he nodded as he came out of the kitchen and sat his phone down then walked over to her. "It's only for a few days then I'll be back, I promise Cub."
"Why?" She pouted then shook her head, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be asking."
"It's okay to ask Cub," he smiled softly as he kissed her forehead. "I have to go have a talk with my accountant and the manager of my main one in New York."
She gasped, "the one you thought could be embezzling?"
"Yes," He confirmed, "my accountant finally found substantial proof so I am needed to get it under control and find a new manager. He is also looking into the rest of the staff but it may take longer than a few days so I can't give you a definite time on when I will be back. I'm sorry Cub but I need to get this handled."
She smiled weakly, "I understand, I promise. But I'll be okay, Jasper is here with me."
"Actually, about that," Jasper said upset as he came into the room. "I just got called in for at least two weeks for a mission."
"What?" She asked as she clutched the chair in front of her. "But I'm here and I need to go speak with Warden Holden and I've never gone by myself and I'm here with THEM," she gasped. "Oh god now I'm being clingy and needy and oh goddess..." She blinked back tears. "I can do this," she repeated softly over and over.
"Sit," Jackson and Jasper commanded at the same time after Jackson moved a chair back and pointed. "Say it."
She automatically sat and placed her hands on her knees palms up.
"I am beautiful." She cleared her throat then said, "I am beautiful. I am lovable. I am enough. I am worthy. I am loved. I am safe. I am yours. I belong to the both of you," she said softly.
"Good girl," Jasper whispered kissed her forehead. "Now again."
"Shouldn't she be kneeling?"
They turned to see the group standing by the doorway watching.
"Mind your own fucking business," Alice glared as she sniffled. "If you truly cared you would already know the answer. Guess it shows just how much you really know about me."
"Enough Cub," Jackson said sternly. "Now again."
"She can't kneel comfortably due to her knee," Jasper glared, "We wouldn't be good Doms if we forced her to kneel and cause further injury."
"Each relationship is customizable, Gabe, you know that," Owen shook his head. "And Alice is correct, it's not our business how they reassure her."
"One more time," Jackson said turning his back on them and crossed his arms.
"Can I in our room?" She asked meekly. "Please?"
"No, now," he shook his head. "Let them hear."
"Show them who you belong to," Jasper whispered smirking at how her eyes lit up at the idea.
She straightened her back and repeated her mantra. "Feel better?" Jackson asked once she was done.
"Yes," she smiled.
"Good girl," Jasper beamed.
"You can get up," Jackson nodded, and she stood then hugged him tightly before hugging Jasper.
"I know you will probably say no," Owen said cleaning his glasses, "but a few of us can go with you to speak to the warden when you need to go meet him that way you are not alone."
"No thank you," She shook her head.
"That will be fine," Jackson said at the same time. She looked at him shocked then nodded. "Thank you, Blackbourne. I want a report when you are leaving, Alice."
"Yes Sir," She nodded, "but why?"
He smirked, "If you are going to be running your business here, they need to know how much land to clear for you and what to expect. It wouldn't be polite to have constant surprises, plus you have to admit sometimes you forget details so it would be good to have extra ears to report back to Jasper and me, that is all. They will not be going into your business."
"Our business," she mumbled while crossing her arms.
"Yours," Jackson and Jasper said at the same time.
"Yes Sirs," she muttered looking at her shoes, "still don't like it."
"Alice," Jackson warned making Jasper chuckle.
"Come on Pet," Jasper smirked gently tugging on her collar, "let's go dance."
"Okay," she huffed but had a small smile on her lips.
"I love you just the way God made you," Jasper started singing as Just The Way By Parmalee & Blacno Brown featuring Bryce Vine came on through the surround stereo.
She giggled as he spun her around while singing.
"Don't get any ideas," Jackson said never taking his eyes off his loves as he spoke to the Blackbourne Toma men, who were watching them dance. "This doesn't mean anything other than helping her out while we are gone. She is still ours."
