"You have one hour, that is all I can spare you," Jasper said as he motioned for the guards standing in front of a building that looked like it was meant for storage. The guards walked away, and Jasper held out some keys. "Remember the agreement we made and one hour, not a minute more."

"That is all that we need," North said while Raven nodded. Jasper slid open the door, allowing the two men to step inside then slid it shut. He stood in front of the door and set the timer on his watch, then patiently waited.

"There we go, Cub," Jackson said as he carefully sat her on the couch a week later.

"Why can't I go up to our room?" She pouted.

"Because we are not risking you pushing your limits when we aren't looking and you possibly fall down the stairs," Jasper explained. "We know you, Pet, and your independence can be put on hold for only so long before you try and regain it."

"I want our room," she pouted then sighed, "Actually I want to go home, OUR home. This isn't home."

The Blackbourne Toma froze for a split second before going back to what they were doing. Jackson sat on the floor beside her and pushed the strand of hair out of her face, "I know you do, Il Mio Cuore, but right now we can't. Jasper and I know how important your family's ranch is to you and we won't do anything to risk you losing it. Even if that means we stay here and make sure you do not get off this couch until you are properly healed."

"What if I have an idea to help, Miene Liebe?" Jasper asked as he watched them with a soft smile on his lips. She looked at him curiously. "What if I bring some home here? Will that help?"

"I don't know," she mumbled. "No, not if it means you leaving."

"Okay," he nodded. He looked at Jackson as ideas being to swirl in his mind.

"Where's Jack?" She asked after a few moments of silence.

"Right outside," North said as he opened the back door. "He has constantly been pacing waiting for you.

She smiled softly when she heard him neighing loudly. "My sweet boy." She turned to Jackson, "I want to see him, please."

"The outside chairs are not suitable for your back and knee, I'm afraid," Jackson shook his head. "Perhaps you can see him once you are better healed."

"Just let him come in," Axel shook his head, "Gabe ordered new chairs that will be here in a few days. He will listen to her; I doubt he will cause any problems if we keep our distance."

"Who has been caring for Red?" She asked curiously as North and Luke opened the back doors all the way. Jack snorted and watched what was happening with interest. He took a cautious step forward until Alice smiled and began whistling. Everyone watched as he visibly calmed down and took a couple more steps into the open living room. He spun, his hooves echoing throughout the ranch house, before laying down and putting his head on her shoulder. She leaned into him and smiled peacefully.

"I have, Boss."

Alice looked up shocked and a huge smile crossed her face as Romeo came into the house with his husband following right behind him. "Romeo! Ayden!" she beamed as they came over to her and kneeled so she could hug them as much as was possible with Jack snorting and being protective.

"Boss," they said in unison.

"But if you are here then who is running our office?" she asked confused.

"We are only staying for a couple of days to show these guys how to train then we are heading back, Boss Lady," Romeo smirked as he motioned over to the Blackbourne Toma team. "You know damn well that I don't trust anyone to run that office except me and you."

"Thank you, you two," she said tiredly. "I know you will train them well."

"These are your exes?" Ayden asked shocked. "Damn Girl, I can see why you liked them."

"Yeah, well, walking in on them cheating on me and trying to deceive me by saying it didn't matter because I was 17 and a minor took away any feelings I had for them," she scoffed.

"Riiiight," Ayden nodded, "duly noted." He noticed the pain and guilt on all their faces but didn't comment on it. "Welp."

"Anyway," Romeo rolled his eyes but chuckled, "we are going to go check on Red then find a hotel for the night. We will see you in the AM, Boss."

"Thank you for coming," she smiled at them, "you two are the best."

"Yeah, we know," Ayden chuckled. "Bosses."

Jackson and Jasper nodded, "Gentlemen."
