"Alright, Alice, as long as you promise to be careful I will lessen your restrictions," Dr. Roberts smiled as her face lit up. He dropped his gaze and pointed his finger at her, "but if you start to act up then I give permission to your men and the knuckleheads to restrict you again however they see fit."
She paled and gulped then nodded seeing Sean, Jackson, and Jasper's smirks, "Got it, Doc, I'll behave. I just want to get back to work. I have a lot that needs to get done. I'm so tired of just sitting on the couch doing nothing all day."
"That's not what I heard," he chuckled. "I know about your little stint trying to escape to the fields."
"I was just exercising my leg," she pouted. "I was doing physical therapy."
"Fine as long as you are careful and not around anymore stupid boys," he shook his head and clicked his pen then slid it into his pocket. "How is Andrew by the way? I heard Jack got him pretty good."
"Last time I saw him, he was being escorted by two MPs off base after being discharged," Jasper shrugged while masking his face. "Unfortunately, I was too busy to serve my own justice."
"Uh huh," Dr. Roberts smirked, "well I'm sure he will get what he deserves one way or another."
"Oh, I bet," Jackson agreed.
"What did you do?" Alice asked looking at Jasper.
"What are you talking about, Pet?" Jasper asked remaining blank.
"Don't lie to me, Jasper," She glared. "You did something to that asshole didn't you? Doc isn't going to say anything, I'm like a granddaughter to him. He's the one that saved me from Majestic accidentally falling on me."
Jasper sighed and dropped his arms, "I may have escorted North and Raven to an empty warehouse for an hour then escorted them off the property and then once they were gone, I may have," he cleared his throat, "had a very serious talk with him before the MPs found him."
"I swear," she rolled her eyes, "and the MPs didn't say anything about how they as you say found him?"
"Nope," he shrugged. "They didn't say anything about his condition."
"And you didn't get in trouble?"
He smirked as he leaned down and put his hands on each side of her, effectively trapping her on the bench. He locked his brown eyes with hers, "I am not in any sort of trouble Alice and even if I was, I do not care, you are my life, and I will do whatever I need to in order to protect you and love you."
"But I don't want to lose you," she pouted. "If you get in trouble with the military, I could lose you."
He smirked and kissed her nose, "you aren't going to lose me, Meine Liebe. I'm yours forever. Jasper and I both are yours forever."
She sighed in relief and carefully wrapped her arms around him. She thought she saw pain and regret in Sean and North's eyes but when she looked up from nuzzling into Jasper's neck, their faces were blank.
"Alright, Little One, I want to see you in two weeks to make sure you are still doing okay," Dr. Roberts said as he washed his hands. "I better not see you before then because of your stubbornness or you won't like what I will do."
"Got it, Doc," she smiled and nodded. "Thanks, and oh you are still walking me down the aisle next month right?"
He beamed, "Of course I am, I wouldn't be anywhere else. I'm honored you asked me to walk you in honor of your grandparents."
"Well, you are my other grandpa," she smiled. "I'm just glad none of this will mess up my dress or our ceremony, I was worried there for a bit."
"You got very lucky but let's not push it, Il Mio Cuore," Jackson said sliding his phone into his pocket.
"Yep," she nodded, "everything okay?"
"Yes," he smiled gently at her, "that was just the rest of your exes asking how your appointment was going. They asked to be kept updated so I was."
"So, everyone is getting along?" Dr. Roberts asked curiously.
"Mostly," North admitted.
"Better than I was expecting," Dr. Roberts chuckled. "Now, go get her some food, she's still underweight."
"Got it Doc," Jackson nodded and shook his hand, "thank you for taking care of our girl."
"Always," Dr. Roberts chuckled. "Sean, North, I need to speak with the both of you real quick."
"Yes Sir," They nodded as Jasper carried Alice out of the room with Jackson following.
