You play with your walkie talkie, waiting for one of the boys to contact you. The night before, you had agreed to go back to the woods Will had disappeared into after school. Only you didn't know where to meet yet, so Mike had said they'll tell you in the morning.

"Hello, Mike to (Y/n), Mike to (Y/n). Do you copy? Over."

"Loud and clear," you smile, remembering when they had taught you a bit about walkie talkie codes. It was funny to see them so serious. "Over."

"We planned to meet at the power lines behind my house at 3:15 for Operation Mirkwood. Is that okay? Over."

"I'll be there. Over."

"Alright, great! See you then! Mike, out."

"(Y/n) out." You echo and retract the antenna. You had hidden in a deserted place of the school not to catch attention, and now you had to run back to class before the bell rang.

"Wow, why do you have this with you?"

You look up to see a weird guy standing in front of you with a confused smile. He had frizzy and messy hair and was wearing a denim jacket. Probably a senior, he didn't look your age at all.

He was staring at your walkie with great interest.

"Uh... Why not?" You try, and he nods.

"Understandable. It's a cool gadget. Hey, um..."

"Yeah?"

"Well, I have a... let's say, secret meeting here with someone, so..."

"Oh, I was about to leave anyway."

"Great!" His face lights up. "Oh, I mean, I'm not tryin' to chase you or anything... It's just..."

"Not very legal," you complete, and he seems surprised. "What you're about to sell."

You just remembered this spot was known to be a good hideout for dealing, so you kind of guessed. He looked impressed nevertheless, and then shameful.

"Yeah..." He lowers his head and scratches his hair. "I'm not proud of it."

"Can I have some?" You joke, amused at the horrified face he makes at your words. "Come on, sell me some drugs."

"No!" He exclaims. "You're Harrington's sister, I'm not dealing with you!"

"Why's that?" You tilt your head, intrigued. "Am I that famous?"

He thinks about it for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, you're Steve's sister after all. He's a popular guy, ya know. And I don't want to have to deal with him after he finds out I've sold drugs to you."

"Don't worry, Steve doesn't care," you giggle at his antics. "And I was only joking anyway. Sorry for scaring you."

He chuckles as well. "You did scare me here. Well, I think you should really go. I don't want to expose my clients."

"No worries. See you..."

"Eddie."

"See you maybe, Eddie."

"Where were you?" Mona whispers as you sit next to her, three seconds after the bell rang, earning a glare from the teacher.

"Buying drugs."

She rolls her eyes and focuses on the lesson. Meanwhile, your head is filled with what you discovered about Eleven the day before, her powers and the fact she knew about Will. And that weird bit about the Demogorgon.
