Rosa wakes feeling dizzy, she tries looking around, but, notices a silky web wrapped around her. Rosa starts moving to try to get free of the cocoon when suddenly she starts falling and then hits the forest floor unharmed. Rosa hears yelling and muttering around as she finally manages to get to her sword to cut herself out. once out she looks around and sees the dwarves have landed on the forest floor and proceed are rip off their wrappings, cursing and yelling the entire time while doing so.
"Where's Bilbo?" Bofur asks looking around
"Bilbo!" the company shouts looking to see if they could see him
there was a quick shout "I'm up here!"
Rosa looked where she thought she heard Bilbo's voice but saw nothing 'That's Strange I could have sworn I heard Bilbo'
As the group finishes freeing themselves They are surrounded by giant spiders. the spiders began to attack the company. The dwarves fight against the spiders with their various weapons. As the fighting continues Rosa tries to roam around and find Bilbo. While searching Rosa didn't notice a spider jump down behind her. It wraps two of its eight legs around her. She struggles trying to grab her sword or Dagger to kill it, but, couldn't as the spider legs are keeping hers arms in place. Rosa waited for the impact from the spider, but, Instead, she falls to the ground with the now-dead spider. Rosa blinks slowly breathing trying to calm down.
"Rosa, are you alright?" A voice asked as the Spider is removed
Rosa looks up to see Fili with a concerned look offering his hand. It took Rosa a minute before she grabs his hand "Um, Thank you, Fili."
He smiles at her and nods going off to help the others.
After the dwarves have defeated the current group of spiders, they run through the forest. More spiders jump down in front of them and hiss at them. Thorin raises his sword in preparation to fight but pauses and looks up. A blonde Elf, Legolas runs through the treetops, then swings down a spider's silk landing on it, and kills one of the spiders. He slides on the forest floor under the spider facing Thorin, slicing it in half, and comes up kneeling with an arrow nocked in his bow and pointed at Thorin. Several other Mirkwood elves appear, drawing arrows and pointing them at the dwarves. "Do not think I won't kill you, dwarf. It would be my pleasure." Legolas says drawing his bow
The dwarves look around and see that they are surrounded and outnumbered by Mirkwood Elves, all with drawn bows aimed at the dwarves.
"Help!" Kili shouts out in the distance
The dwarves whirl around and see a spider pulling Kili away by the foot. A female Elf, Tauriel, runs through the forest. She kills three spiders with her bow and knife, then kills the spider pulling Kili with an arrow. She turns to attack another spider behind her, and yet another spider rushes toward Kili.
"Throw me your dagger! Quick!" Kili shouts to her
"If you think I'm giving you a weapon, dwarf, you're mistaken!" Tauriel says killing her spider with her knife, then spins and throws the knife, killing the spider that was attacking Kili. Kili looks on in amazement.
"Search them," Legolas tells the other elves
The elves approach the dwarves and start searching them. the elf who was searching, Rosa takes her dagger. "Hey, give that back, someone special gave it to me!" Rosa shouts trying to grab it back, the elf just pushed her back to the group and she lands in someone's arms. She looks up to Fili, he helps her stand up and they stand there staring at each other as if in a trance until they're pulled apart and search for more weapons.
Legolas pulls a picture frame with two pictures out of Gloin's pocket.
"Hey! Give it back! That's private!"
"Who is this? Your brother?" Legolas asks looking at a picture of a dwarf.
"That is my wife!" Gloin tells him a little angry
Legolas looks at the other picture "And what is this horrid creature? A goblin mutant?"
"That's my wee lad, Gimli."
Legolas raises his eyebrow at Gloin in contempt.
Meanwhile, the elf searching Fili finds even more knives all around his person. Fili sighs when the elf finds even some in a secret hidden pocket. Fili opens his jacket to show him that he has no knives left; however, the elf finds another one hidden in Fili's hood. An elf hands Legolas Thorin's sword, Orcrist, "[This is an ancient Elvish blade. Forged by my kin.] he says as he inspects it "Where did you get this?" Legolas looks toward the Dwarves
"It was given to me," Thorin answers
"Not only a thief but a liar as while." Legolas remakes point Orcrist at him
"How rude for you to call him that just because he's a dwarf!" Rosa shouts stepping out of the group
"And who are you?" He asks now pointing the sword at her
"I am Rosa Baggins of the shire and I find it very rude of you to call this man a thief and liar just because his a dwarf. he was given that sword."
"Do you have any proof of that claim?"
"I will..." Rosa stopped looking down "no."
The elves begin to lead the dwarves away. As they begin to walk, Bofur turns and whispers to Thorin "Thorin, where's Bilbo?"
This makes Thorin to look around, but like earlier there was no still sign of Bilbo. The dwarves are led over a bridge and into the Woodland Realm. After they pass through, Legolas addresses the guards of the gate. Bilbo, invisible, is running along the bridge and toward the gate. He, manages to slips through the gates before they close.
