Early the next morning the dwarves, Gandalf, and Rosa left Bagend. The dwarves lend Rosa a pony for the journey. Fili slows down to ride next to Rosa. "Care for some company?"
She smiles at him "Um, sure Fili"
"Sorry, about your brother not coming."
"Oh, don't worry he'll come." She assures him
"How can you be so sure of that?"
"Because I know him. My brother may act like he doesn't want or like adventures but I know better. Also, I doubt he'd just let me leave this easily."
Fili raises a brow at her statement, wondering how she could be so certain about her brother. He shakes his head smiling at her confidence as they continue.

Not long after The company hears a shout in the distance "Wait! Wait!" They stop their ponies looking behind them as Bilbo runs up to them.
"I've signed it!" Bilbo hands Balin his contract
Balin takes the contract and inspects it with a pocket-glass. He then smiles at Bilbo. "Everything appears to be in order. Welcome, Master Baggins, to the company of Thorin Oakenshield."
The other dwarves cheer. Thorin looks at him not impressed. "Give him a pony," Thorin tells them turning his pony around
"No, no, no, that--that won't be necessary, thank you, but I--I'm sure I can keep up on foot. I-- I--I've done my fair share of walking holidays. Even got as far as Frogmorton once-" Bilbo is cut off as two dwarves riding up from behind picking him up.

Bilbo is now riding a pony, quite terrified. The pony neighs tossing its head, making him uncomfortable.
"Everything alright Bilbo?" Rosa asked slowly riding up
"Ah, yeah it's just hard riding on a pony. Seeing how I've never had before. How are you riding so calmly and easily?"
She shrugs "I guess Lilly and I have an understanding."
He raises a brow "Lilly?"
"Yeah, that's her name and a nice one too. I'm glad you're coming, Bilbo."
"Well, someone has to keep an eye on you, you know."
Rosa narrows her eyes "Hey now, what's that supposed to mean?"
He chuckled "Well, you've always caused trouble back in the shire."
She lightly chuckles "Not my fault entirely that grown hobbits don't like my way of fun."
He shakes his head smiling but stops as he sees sacks of money being passed between all the dwarves with some of them laughing. "What's that about?" Bilbo asks riding up to Gandalf
"Oh, they took wagers on whether or not you'd turn up. Most of them bet that you wouldn't." Gandalf explains
"What did you think?" He looks at him
Gandalf catches a sack of money tossed to him. "My dear fellow, I never doubted you for a second," he says putting it in his bag
Bilbo looks at him oddly then suddenly sneezes loudly. "Ohh. All this horsehair, I'm having a reaction." Bilbo searches his pockets for his handkerchief. Unable to find it, he shouts to the others. "Wait, wait, stop! Stop! We have to turn around."

The entire company halts, the dwarves asking what's going on.
"What on earth is the matter?"
"I forgot my handkerchief."
Rosa rolls her eyes and pulls out a handkerchief "Here Bilbo." She hands it to him "I have an extra one."
Thorin rolls his eyes at the two "Move on." He tells the other turning his pony back around

Later that night the company sets up camp for the night. Fili, Kili, and Rosa sit around the fire as they wait for Bombur to finish cooking.
"Are you really Bilbo's sister, Rosa?" Kili suddenly asks
She looks over at him confused. "Pardon?"
"You just all most look nothing like a hobbit or even Bil- Ow!" Kili rubs his head looking to his brother
"Sorry about my brother Rosa." Fili apologies
Rosa chuckled "It's alright Fili, I don't mind answering his question," she looks from Fili to Kili "Will I'm not blood-related to Bilbo. I was adopted by his parents when I was very young."
"Oh, what happened to your parents?"
Fili slaps the back of Kili head "Come Brother I'm sure that information is more then Rosa wants to talk about."
"Sorry" Kili mumbles rubbing his head
"It's ok, I...don't know what happened to them. From what I was told, my mother died in some accident and as for my father, I don't really know anything about him, to be honest. All I've ever heard is that he's some traveling elf helping others in need."
"Doesn't that make you an elf?" Ori asked jumping in
"Well, technicality only half elf seen how my mom was a hobbit,"
"You're what?!"
"Half-elf," Rosa repeats looking at Thorin
"And you didn't tell us. Why?!"
Rosa crossed her arms "Well, I figured Gandalf told you."
"No, he didn't and frankly I don't want an elf anywhere near Erebor."
"Well, I've signed your contract and Bilbo's here so I'm not going anywhere." She narrows her eyes at him
Thorin narrows his eyes at her then turned walking off. Rosa sits there a little upset and confused as she looks around and feels some sudden tense in the air now. She sighed looking down 'maybe Bilbo was right.'
