3rd person's POV:
Dylan Lenivy rubbed his eyes with his palms as he slowly sat up in his bed. Dylan gripped the sheets beneath his palm as he gazed drowsily at the bed space beside him where his lover lay.
The boy smiled to himself, shifting his hand to gently stroke Ryan's cheek, careful not to wake him.
We've been through so much.. mistakes and mishaps. Yet we are back together, where we belong. I'll never leave you...Ryan.
He thought as a small hue of sadness was visible in his eyes at the memory.
Dylan swung his legs over the edge of the bed, rising to his feet and stretching his arms.
He cast a glance back at Ryan who was still sleeping peacefully, his arms wrapped around his pillow as if hugging it.
Dylan smiled at the sight, Ryan was adorable. He grabbed his phone from his bedside table and turned on his camera, smiling like a dork as he took a picture of his sleeping boyfriend. He knew if Ryan found out he would do all in his power to delete it.
Afterwards Dylan decided to leave his boyfriend be and exited his room. He made his way down the staircase with a yawn.
"Morning Princess."
Kaitlyn smirked from where she was seated at the kitchen table, snacking on a muesli bar that Dylan would buy specifically for when she'd come over.
"Good Morning! I see you found the bars."
Dylan said, rasing a brow.
"Yup. Where you normally keep them, dimwit."
Kaitlyn rolled her eyes, as usual.
"How could you reach them? You're too short."
Dylan asked which sounded more like a remark, he recalled how Ryan had failed to reach the same cupboard last time.
"The power of a stool, dumbass."
Kaitlyn said with a small scoff, taking another bite.
"Hey uh..do you find it kind of weird?"
She asked after swallowing, her gaze turning from fun and joking to almost dead serious, but morely suspicious.
"What weird?"
Dylan asked with a confused stare.
"Ryans story."
Kaitlyn confirmed, tapping her fingers on the table.
Dylan felt himself freeze, he hadn't really thought about it. Upon not hearing a response, Kaitlyn continued.
"He didn't have his car, he looked sleepy, no phone, he wouldn't talk about Sarah or Laura. Something seems fishy."
She stated, her accusation seemed a tad offensive to Dylan as he recalled the awkward space they had shared with Ryan as they arrived back at his house.
"I mean come on, Dylan. Did you see how hesitant and reluctant he was to talking about those things!? Things that were simple and normal? I think he's hiding something."
Kaitlyn pointed out, eyeing her best friend as he awkwardly gripped his arm.
"Well...wait, why are you bringing this up now?"
He asked, not able to meet her gaze.
"Don't change the subject. Come on Dyl, I don't hate your boyfriend but he seemed really suspicious. You have to admit you are just a bit curious about the whole situation."
