3rd person's POV:
Ryan rubbed his eyes, attempting to be rid of the sleep that grasped onto him.
The boy sat up, gazing to his side where his lover lay throughout the night to discover he wasn't there.Ryan stretched his arms, yawning as he made his way to the edge of Dylan's bed, letting his feet fall over the side and to the soft carpet beneath as he stood up.
The lean boy sluggishly stepped over to where Dylan's mirror was positioned in his room, staring at his reflection.
I look like shit.
Ryan realised as he raised a finger to trace along the bags that underlined his weary zombie like eyes. Ryan then recognized how his entire face looked as though he hadn't slept in weeks..perhaps it was an after effect of the overdose? Ryan couldn't tell, but he did know that he was still really tired, although he had gotten a full night's rest the night before.
The boy sighed slightly, before his gaze flicked across his torso, he had been grateful that Dylan had lended him a shirt to sleep in due to the fact that the clothes he had been previously wearing had been soaked and weren't overly comfortable to sleep in anyhow. So he'd just slept in the shirt Dylan had lent him and his boxers which hadn't been drenched.
Ryan made his way over to Dylan's dresser and opened the drawer he had noticed to be the 'pants' drawer. Retrieving a pair of shorts, he was sure Dylan wouldn't mind. Ryan slipped them on before heading toward the bedroom door, opening it and heading down the hall.
He made his way down the stairs, scratching the back of his neck before he reached the dining area.
Ryan spotted Dylan and Kaitlyn standing there, their backs turned toward him, he guessed they didn't know of his presence. But something seemed...off. Ryan didn't know exactly what but by the way the two were standing, all tense and huddled together, he could definitely tell something wasn't right.
Ryan slowly made his way toward the pair, tapping on Dylans shoulder, who was closer to him.
"Good morning."
Ryan smiled as the boy instantly turned his head over his shoulder. He looked...shocked to see him standing there, why?
Kaitlyn turned around too, her gaze which was normally confident and sarcastic was now the same as Dylan's, shocked and worried? Something big must have happened, Ryan had never seen Kaitlyn like this before.
"Ryan!!"
Dylan gripped onto Ryan's shoulders while his eyes glazed over. Ryan gazed at him with a confused stare, what was going on?
"Yeah..?"
Ryan responded, slightly unnerved by the encounter.
"Is everything ok?"
Dylan let out a loud sob, burying his face into the crevice of Ryan's neck, holding him close as his body shook furiously.
Ryan's eyes widened and he embraced the tall boy back tightly, he gazed over to Kaitlyn who gazed at him with a slightly sad expression.
What the fuck is going on..?
Finally Dylan pulled away, wiping his eyes with his palm while he let out a loud sniffle.
"Ryan..."
Dylan said his lovers name, interrupted by another sniff, Ryan could tell that Dylan was trying his best to hold himself together instead of falling to the floor in a breakdown. Ryan took Dylan's hand, staring deeply into Dylan's weary eyes, Kaitlyn stood awkwardly near them, her grip on her arm tightening as if she were debating what she should do next.
