Hikōki-dō
The practice of the lost art of World War II Era dogfights,
Once thought of as dangerous and violent
Has lately passed tests to become a viable sport by the Japanese Department of Education (MEXT)
With this new sport created, multiple different schools create their respective teams.
A tournament is organized locally.
The 1st National Hikōki-dō Tournament
Not wishing to miss out on the chance to publicize themselves, the Chinese Communist Party, or CCP, has created a Hikōki-dō team based in the Chinese capital of Beijing.
They hope to claim the sport for themselves, as similar to other countries doing the same to Sensha-dō
Wishing to equal the balance of power, the United States Departments of Education and Defense have both ratified an agreement to train a team of their own to challenge the competition.
The Boys are recruited from everywhere, called from in-country and beyond, to train in the art of dogfighting, by the hands of experienced professionals in the armed forces.
Their destination,
The United States Navy Fighter Weapons School.
But the fliers there call it......
TOP GUN.
