-chapter 13-

The blue woman had killed all the demon dogs while y/n and Jake just stood off to the side watching.

Y/n blinked as the woman mumbled something in Na'vi and walked past them to the stupid torch that Jake had made.

She picked it up and threw it into a small stream that was near them.

"Wait, don't --" Jake was too slow and they were engulfed in darkness.

Y/n looked around, the forest begun to glow and she could see various blinding blue spots.

Jake spun around in awe.

The woman ignored him and made her way to a whimpering demon dog, kneeling down next to it and placing her hands over the wound.

"Forgive me, my brother" she whispered in her native language.

Then she drew her blade and quickly sliced its throat, ending its pain.

Y/n looked at the scene with a confused gaze.
'Why is she apologising?' She thought to herself before shrugging her shoulders and turning away.

Jake wasn't having that though.
He quickly grabbed y/n by the back of her hoodie (which was still wet) and hauled her over his shoulder, running over to the blue woman as y/n protested.

"Look, I'm, I know you probably don't understand this. But— thanks. Thank you, we owe you" Jake spoke slowly, pissing y/n off even more as she kneed him in the stomach.

"What is she? A child. And I don't owe anyone anything" y/n hissed, ridiculing Jake on his way of speaking to the other female. The Na'vi kept her head down and ignored the two as she continued praying, a hint of a smirk on her face as she recalled y/n's words.

"It's true though! We would have been screwed if she hadn't come along --"

"Correction. YOU would have been screwed. I was doing great" y/n glared, pulling herself away and shuddering as the cold air hit her wet clothes.

"Hey, wait. Wait!   Where you goin'?" Jake called out as the Na'vi female followed after y/n who was walking in a random direction.

"SHIGARAKI !!!! I'm sorry!!! DONT LEAVE ME HERE ALONE" Jake yelled out, running through the bushes after the two females, catching up to y/n, he placed his hand on her shoulder to try catch his breath.

The female na'vi stopped walking to watch the interaction between the two.

Y/n quickly lifted her arm to grab the hand that rested on her shoulder and somehow her tiny body managed to find the strength to flip Jakes Avatar over her shoulder.

Neytiri's eyes widened in shock, her hand lifted to cover her mouth in surprise.
She had genuinely thought they were mates, but seeing this interaction she didn't think so anymore.

"oops. My hand slipped" y/n spoke, a fake smile on her face as she continued walking forward.

Jake lay on the ground, turning to the female na'vi then.
The two begun talking, Jake thanking her and her now yelling at him.

Y/n ended up on a long log that was leading to a large tree, she scanned the area, apart from the annoying germs that stuck up from the log, everything else was safe.

She stepped on it, walking down while looking around.
Soon the area begun to shine bright, hundreds of clear glowing jellyfish looking creatures begun to float down.

Y/n let an involuntary gasp leave her lips as she looked around in awe.
It was those annoying creatures but she couldn't deny they were stunning.
A couple landed on her and she shook them off.

They only kept coming back so y/n did what was necessary.
Five fingers closed around one of the creatures but to her ultimate surprise the creature didn't disintegrate.

"Huh?" Y/n whispered out in confusion.
Getting her other hand, she enclosed it around a different one.
Her eyes widened as the same result happened.

A small gentle smile over took her features, her hands reached out to gently caress the creatures.

A pair of greenish yellow eyes stared, entranced and in admiration, lowering his bow, he watched as the skyperson was chosen by eywa.
His huntsmen, called out to him and snapped him out of his trance, he galloped over to them.

The gentle face of the sky person engraved into his mind.
His cheeks heated up.
No.
This was wrong, he was already promised to someone else...

"I need your help."
"You should not be here."
"So take me with you."
"No. You go back."

Neytiri and Jake went back and forth as they walked along the wooden log that y/n stood on.
Sensing a presence up ahead Neytiri turned her gaze to the ferns and moved them slightly out of the way.

A gasp of amazement left her mouth as she caught sight of the usually uncaring female, smiling gently at the woodsprites which surrounded her.

Jake followed her gaze and then asked full of curiosity.

"What are they?"

"Atokirina'. Seeds of the Great Tree -- very pure spirits." Neytiri answers.

Y/n heard the two whispering and quickly turned to the duo, her face loosing the smile and setting into a scowl.

The woodsprites immediately scattered away from the annoyed female and floated up.

"What was that all about?" Jake teased to the aggravated female

"Not. A. Word. Sully." Y/n hissed as he sent her an innocent smile

Neytiri looked slightly shaken as she grabbed y/n by the hand and pulled her over her shoulder while pulling jake along with her other hand.

" Come!" She spoke, rushing along the log
