Y/n glanced at her hands before taking a deep breath.

There was something stuck in her mind, it was like a word about to be said, at the tip of her tongue but she just couldn't figure it out.

It was like she knew something but just forgot it..?

Y/n sat in the tree as the sun came up and illuminated the dark sky, a shuffle was heard from beside her yet she didn't flinch.

Something changed in her fight or flight instincts overnight.

"Good morning Y/n!" Jake nudged her shoulder

Y/n hummed before removing the hand on her neck which restricted her power use.

"...Y/n?"
Jake tilted his head

"There's someone's name I've recently remembered..." Y/n began

Jakes eyes widened and he leaned closer to the girl.

"...Midoriya" she finished in thought

"Oh!" He suddenly exclaimed

"You know the name!?" Y/n asked as she looked to him

"Yea! I remember seeing it..uh"
He looked up trying to remember

"Where??" Y/n lifted her fingers and grabbed jakes hands without thinking before pulling back as if she was burnt

"I think it was back at the lab" he answered

Y/n nodded her head in thought.
"Then I'll go"

"To the lab?" Jake questioned in worry

"They're looking for you shigaraki! You can't go alone, they'll catch you!"

"Are you doubting my skills?" Y/n tilted her head with a glare as Jake violently shivered

"No ma'am!"
"What I meant is that it will be easier for you to go in and out with company to alert you"

Y/n nodded her head showing she understood
"Who will I take?" She questioned

"I KNOW THE PERFECT PERSON!" Jake suddenly yelled, jumping up.

Y/n looked at him weirdly as he ran off...
"Midoriya.." she tried the name on her tongue again, it tasted sweet like warm childhood memories and hugs under a candle light.
