"Alright, thank you have a good day as well." Aris smiled, rolling her eyes hanging up the phone.
"Uh uh, what was that?" Stephanie chuckled, walking past Aris area where she worked.
"Girl, phone call with Mr. Morison."
"Oh, say no more I'm already knowing how that is." Stephanie chuckled tossing her hands up.
"Mhm, I don't even wanna talk about it but anyways we still heading out for lunch?"
"Uh, about that." Stephanie lips twisted to the side.
"What now steph." I sighed.
"Jason wants to do lunch, I haven't seen my baby in a few days since he's been away for his job. Can we reschedule for Monday?"
"Fine, just toss me to the side." I dramatically tossed my arms in the air.
"Aww boo, you know it's not like that. It's just my man and I-
"I get it, go head enjoy love."
"Aw thanks, you enjoy your lunch as well." Stephanie said, as she walked toward her office.
"I'm about to."
Grabbing my coat from the back of my computer chair I grabbed my purse and keys, mid day had finally arrived and I was beyond ready. My stomach was near my back and I was ready to eat.
Exiting my area, I made my way toward the door waving at a couple co workers on my way out.
"Aris! Aris wait up!"
I turned around seeing my neighbor who happened to be my co worker as well, Tobias jogging his way toward me.
"Hey." He said, flashing me his perfectly white smile my way.
"Hey Tobias."
"Off to lunch?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Where you headed?"
"I don't know, wherever I pull into. I'm just hungry almost anything sounds good."
Tobias chuckled scratching at his beard. "Well would you like to go to lunch... as friends of course."
Tobias was a very sweet guy, he had found himself very interested in Aris but he knew she was in some sort of relationship but didn't know too much about it since she never really went into detail. Only telling him that she had a man.
"I don't know Tobias."
Tobias head dropped in defeat as he slid both hands in both of his side pockets. "I mean.. not to call you out or anything like that but I did save your job.. just saying." He smirked wiggling his eye brows as he looked down at her short frame.
"You did?"
"Indeed. That day when we were on the elevator back at the apartment, you were in a rush I mean so was I but I mean it's not as important to me as it is for you. You forgot his coffee so I picked it up on my way to work and other reasons he explained about firing you but I had your back and explained to him why he shouldn't."
