Marcus.
Pulling into the parking lot, I got out of the car fixing my clothes as I made way to inside the brown brick building.
"Aye, Good morning." Kaseem greeted as I stepped inside the store.
"Morning." I nodded walking further into the room.
"Welcome to Shoe Game here we will be
selling more than shoes. We sell clothes, jewelry and other men fashion. But we'll mostly be known for making customized shoes hence the name."I nodded my head. "I do need to step my shoe game up, it use to be crazy before I went in, had shoe boxes on top of shoe boxes."
"Well we got you here. We have all sorts of shoes and we can make em how you want it. My guys are artist we can hand paint, spray paint, customize how ever our customers want their shoes made."
"That's wasup."
"Yeah, lemme show you around." He spoke.
Allowing him to lead the way I watched as he showed me around the shop.
"Yo this is nice."
"Preciate it bruh."
"Yeah."
"You good wit money?" He asked, walking toward an office not too far from the front of the store.
"Yeah, I'm good wit it?"
"How you feel workin on the register?"
"I'm down wit whatever, I'm jus grateful you gave a nigga a chance."
Kaseem chuckled. "Good, I'm glad to hear that. So yeah I'ma have you doin all that like deal wit customers, get orders handle money do all this shit up front."
"Okay cool, I'm here for whatever you need me to do."
"Well for starters I need you to help us with getting some of these things out the truck."
"Aight boss lets get this started."
:
:"Hi baby, how was the first day?"
"It was coo, Kaseem showed me around told me what I'll have to do and we moved some things around and placed things where they need to go.
"Aww that sounds good."
"Yeah, I'm a little sore."
"Aww poor baby, come on." Aris chuckled grabbing my hands pulling me toward her.
I smiled looking down at her as I kissed her lips, my hands roamed her back to her booty giving it a squeeze. "I missed you."
"I missed you more."
"How was work for you?"
"It was alright, just another day." She spoke not giving me eye contact
"Yeah I hear you, ima take a shower real quick."
"Okay, I'll make you something to eat."
Nodding my head I walked up the stairs heading for the bedroom. Stepping into the closet I grabbed a pair of basketball shorts and a Tee.
Removing my clothes I stepped into the shower, I allowed the water to run down my body as I stood underneath the shower head.
Every shower I had as a free man felt like heaven compared to the ones in jail with other Niggas in the same room.
Squeezing my Axe body wash onto the towel I began lathering my skin with it.
My mind went back to my life before jail.
I missed the money that I was making, I never went without. I had everything the money, girls, cars, jewelry.
But I couldn't go back, I never want to step into another jail in my life. I was grateful for Aris she was truly a life saver. Allowing me in her home, giving me money, helping me when I didn't have a dime for myself.
I needed to be better as a man for her.. and that's exactly what I plan on doin.
Drying myself off I slid on my clothes, brushing my hair into a bun walking out of the bathroom into our room, tossing everything into the hamper.
Jogging back down the stairs I followed my nose which lead me into the kitchen. I smiled watching Aris dancing to the music as she stood in front of the stove.
Sneaking behind her I wrapped my arms around her waist placing my chin on her shoulder.
"What are you cookin my love?"
"Burgers and fries."
"Sounds good." I smiled, watching as she flipped over the burger patty.
"You smell good."
"So Fresh and so clean clean." I laughed walking toward the kitchen bar.
"You want a drink?"
"I'll get it." I stood to my feet pouring myself a glass of henny.
Sitting back at the bar table I sipped onto the drink watching as she did her thing in the kitchen.
"Baby."
"Yeah?" She turned looking at me.
"You know I love you right?"
"Yeah I know. I love you too." She squinted her eyes at me. "What do you want?"
"Nothing." I laughed. "Just wanted to remind you how much I love you that's all."
"Aww." She smiled.
I drank all that was in my cup as I continued watching her.
Everything about her is amazing to me. Her hair, her smile, her body I loved everything about her but what I loved most was heart.
"Here you go." She smiled sliding a plate in front of me.
"Thank you wife."
"You're welcome." She smiled as she began to clean up the kitchen.
"Bae come eat wit me, that can wait I'll clean the kitchen."
"I will let me jus clean.."
"I'm not eating til you eat."
She chuckled placing a couple things away before making a plate for herself.
We ate and laughed talking about everything in the sun. Moments like these were what I loved about Aris and our relationship.
I wouldn't want to be with anyone else....
