"Good morning love." Marcus smiled, looking back at me as I walked into the kitchen.
"Morning."
"You good?" He chuckled sliding scrambled eggs onto a plate next to toast and bacon sliding a plate toward me.
"You made breakfast?"
"Yeah why you saying it like you're surprised I can cook."
I chuckled saying a quick prayer. "Thank you baby."
"Of course, So about last night?" He smirked.
"What about it?"
"You were like a horny goat tryna touch all on me and stuff talking about I want you inside me."
He spoke mocking my voice."Oh my gosh." I hid my face. "I'm sorry."
Marcus turned off the stove walking toward me. "Don't be sorry love you were lit, you feel asleep before anything could happen and I figured it was the drink talking and not you."
"It was but you know I always want you." I smirked as he lowered down toward me staring into my eyes.
"Same for you, but only when it's mutual and you're not drunk." He spoke before kissing my lips.
Kissing back we fought for dominance as he gripped my thighs. I moaned into his mouth as he won.
"Aight, you not drunk anymore don't start nun you won't be able to finish woman." He laughed.
"I always finish what I start."
Marcus stood back leaning against the counter.
"You right." He nodded pulling his phone from his pocket.Silence fell between us as I finished my food, standing from the stool chair I tossed my plate and fork into the sink.
"Aye baby can you braid my hair later?" Marcus asked as his fingers quickly tapped again the screen.
"Yeah you want the Cleo?"
"The what?" He asked with a laugh as he slid his phone back into his pocket.
"You know Cleo from set it off, I call em Cleo instead of cornrows, hearing corn rows remind me of corn chips." I laughed.
"You still must be a little drunk." He laughed walking toward me wrapping his arms around me.
"Shut up." I laughed laying my head on his chest. "What we doing today?"
"Whatever you wanna do my lady." He spoke in a terrible British accent.
"Oof don't ever do that again." I laughed.
"I don't sound like Idris?"
"Nah but maybe his cousin from the hood."
"You got jokes early in the morning, it be yo own girl I swear." He shook his head opening the fridge grabbing the jug of orange juice.
"It's all out of love." I chuckled.
"Mhm, I bet."
"So."
"So what?" He asked filling the cup with juice.
"The DNA testing, how did that go?"
Opening the fridge he sat the jug back inside before closing the door with a shrug. "It was coo."
"Tell me everything step by step."
Releasing a deep sigh he placed the cup to his lips before taking a few gulps. "Aight so the day started when I woke up, I got out the bed pulled the sheets back."
"Marcus." I gave him a look as I folded my
Arms across my chest."Okay, okay I was kidding relax babe damn, it's not much to tell we was literally there for like ten minute's. "So boom I walk inside the place Renee already there looking angry when she saw me. I see the little girl and we talk to the receptionist and they take us to a room got our saliva and put it in a tube and sent it off we weren't
there long and they said they would send both of us the results to me and Renee."And the results?"
"I still haven't read it yet."
"Well let's see what it says?"
Marcus released a deep breath removing his phone from his pocket as he opened his email scrolling through until he reached DDC site. Handing her his phone he looked at her. "You read it."
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yeah." He nodded sitting back.
My eyes scanned over the different numbers toward the possibility percentage. Marcus... there is 0% chance that you are the father.
"Wooooh!! See I told you!" He claimed as he clapped. "I knew it!" He jumped around. "I told you Renee was a ho I knew that lil girl wasn't mine."
"Alright alright calm down!"
"I'm good, I'm good."
"Shit! I feel lighter I mean I knew she wasn't mine but knowing for sure I feel like I can breathe you know?"
"I get it."
The sound of my phone ringing brought us from our own thoughts. "Can you get my phone from the couch please."
"Yes your highness."
"Thank you peasant."
"Oh wow I'm a Peasant now." He laughed handing me my phone.
"Thank you little person."
"Whatever you say queen I'm bout to take a shower okay?"
Answering the call I answered the face time video from my mother. "Hey ma."
"Hello daughter, how are you?"
"I'm good just relaxing how you doing? How's dad?"
"He's good and I'm good thanks for asking. Are you ready for the wedding?"
"Yeah, I have the bridesmaid dress and everything I need."
"Good."
"Is that all you called me for?"
"Want to have lunch my treat?"
"How about I treat you, you're always treating me."
"Alright I'm not going to say no to that."She laughed chuckled . "Since you're paying then I'll drive. I'll pick you up in about an hour."
