"I...I HAVE SOMETHING THAT I WISH TO TELL YOU," Ikaris began, immediately making Akoi stop giggling and look at his serious face. Her heart dropped slightly, the smile from her face fleeing. She began to worry that it was something bad, and all of a sudden she didn't have a good feeling about this.

"Tell me what?" Akoi asked meekly, not knowing that the news would change her life. Akoi thought that he was going to say something negative; like that he was leaving or had gotten in trouble with Arishem. But nothing in the entire universe prepared her for what Ikaris did next.

First, he tugged on her arms gently so that she was closer to him. Chest to chest, making Akoi extremely nervous. She peered up at the man she had admired for many years, taking in his handsome features one by one before finally reaching his eyes. Akoi found that they were already looking down at her, soft and full of emotion.

They were full of passion, and Akoi's breath hitched in shock. She could immediately feel herself faltering beneath his stare like she did so many other times. Akoi could never explain it, but Ikaris always had this hold over her. He always made her feel like she would do anything for him and do anything that he asked for.

Which was why she so desperately wanted to know what he had to say.

"What did you wish to tell me, Ikaris?" Akoi whispered, her lips trembling softly. She then froze when he reached his hand up, cupping her face and slightly stroking her round cheeks.

"So beautiful," He whispered back, making Akoi shiver. "You truly are the light that this world needs. The light that I need."

Akoi's heartbeat rapidly accelerated as Ikaris reached his other hand down to wrap around her waist. Then, she felt like she was about to burst as he did the one thing she had always wanted him to do.

Ikaris leaned down, and he kissed her.

He kissed her with so much passion, love, and emotion that it was obvious Ikaris had been holding in his emotions for a while. He kissed her hard, making Akoi's head spin. The breath left her lungs as he then slipped his tongue in her mouth.

Akoi truly did not believe that this was happening, but she decided not to argue as this is what she had wanted for more than a hundred years.

Ikaris' mouth on hers felt like it was natural, his body pressing against hers as they desperately clung to each other.

Akoi moaned as Ikaris moved his hands all over her body, panting softly when he pulled away to rest his gaze on her.

"I have been waiting centuries to do that," He told her cheekily, eyes glowing orange. Akoi smiled, in a daze.

"As have I," She told him, leaning back up to rekindle the kiss. However, Ikaris leaned back playfully.

"Eager are we?" He teased her, and Akoi whined, not liking his teasing. She stared at him, blinking softly and a frown tugging at her lips.

She began to pout, fluttering her eyelashes in hopes he'd give in. "Please?" She then asked.

Ikaris felt something awaken in him. Looking down at her, how small she looked compared to him—it was like a primal urge to have her for himself, and to protect her. Ikaris did not want anyone else on this earth, or any other than himself to have Akio.

He wanted to be selfish. He wanted her for himself, and he wanted her now.

Akoi gasped as he unexpectedly complied with her wishes, leaning down to once again connect their lips. However, Akio could already tell that this kiss was different. This kiss ignited a hunger in both of them. A hunger that had been lingering for many, many years.

It was a hunger that caused Ikaris' hands to trail down her body, eventually resting on her thigh. Akoi gasped as he gave it a small squeeze before slipping past the fabric of her dress, laying his hands on her bare skin.

She went to pull away, looking at him with wide eyes, but Ikaris reassured her with one glance, and they continued.

Akoi allowed him to continue feeling her skin, liking the way his hands felt on her. They were rough, but delicate as they handled her; Ikaris eventually pulling her down to the sand so that he could lay on top of her.

In her time on earth, Akoi had always thought that it was pointless to be with other men when her heart would not allow her. From the moment she had opened her eyes, she only had them for one person. And that was the man that she planned on giving her herself to.

Likewise, Ikaris never even considered any woman except for Akio. His feelings for her had been clear since the day he met her, and she was the only one that he wanted.

Akoi was the only one that could fill the void in his heart, the light that his darkness so desperately needed.

Ikaris needed her.

He tried to expresses this as he kissed her, becoming more and more desperate as their layers disappeared.

Sometimes, he pulled away just to admire Akoi, and the way that she seemed to gleam in the moonlight.

Akio knew that she should have been nervous, but she wasn't. She fully trusted Ikaris, and allowed him to touch her in ways that she had never felt before.

The pleasure that she felt from him was on another level. He used his mouth and his hands to do many things, pleasing her no matter what.

It wasn't long before they were both bare, Ikaris leaning over her. He pulled away from her swollen lips to look her in the eyes.

Akio could tell that he was nervous, and so was she. But she was also excited, because she had never wanted something so bad. She craved for Ikaris to finally be close to her. She craved for him to finally be inside of her, so that they could become one.

He rested his for head against hers and with honey on his tongue, he whispered in her ear:

"I love you. And you are mine from this day forward. You will always be mine."

"Then may our love never die," Akoi whispered breathlessly, gasping in pleasure as Ikaris finally took her as his.
