CHICAGO. IT WASNT A BAD PLACE, BUT GILGAMESH'S death still weighed heavily on Akoi, so she had to admit she wasn't as excited as she originally was to retrieve Phastos. She was still grieving for the loss of her fellow Eternals, but it was easier now that Ikaris was back on her side.

They had talked, and they had promised each other that this time would be different. They promised each other—mainly Ikaris—that they would never leave again, and as soon as they finished their plan, he also promised that he would take her to any place she wanted to go and they could live there until the next mission arose.

Akoi thought that this was a great plan and it gave her something to look forward to. It gave her something to fight for.

Ikaris was right by her side as they eventually managed to find Phastos, finding him in a nice suburban neighborhood.

And he was fixing a bike.

Akoi pursed her lips in amusement as she saw her old friend, immediate alarm coming to his face. He slowly stop tinkering with the bike, walking over to them with his eyebrows raised.

In the yard, Akoi could see a man playing football with a little boy. Upon seeing them, he rose an eyebrow and walked over curiously.

"Hi," He greeted them cautiously.

"Hi," Akoi greeted back.

"It there something that I can do for you?" The man asked, just as Phastos rushed over.  He wore a panicked look, looking between his old friend and the man beside him.

"Ben, Jack, these are my old friends. Aaliyah a-and Isaac. From college," Phastos told the man, who did not look convinced of 'Aaliyah' and 'Isaac.'

"Isaac," Ikaris chuckled lightly under his breath, causing Akoi to shove him.

"It's nice to meet you," She held out her hand to the man, who she assumed was Phastos' husband. He shook it, and she smiled lightly at her old friend. "I'm glad he had finally found happiness."

"It's nice to meet you too," Ben smiled.

"Hi," The boy waved and Akoi beamed at him.

"Hi Jack," She giggled as he blushed slightly, hiding behind Phastos' leg. Eventually though, she held her hand out, and his small hand greeted hers. "How are you?"
