The Royal Wedding

  As the royal wedding day arrived, Maria and Aiden we're getting ready for their big day. Maria was with her mother as she was putting on her wedding dress.

" oh, I cannot believe my daughter is getting married." Maria's mother said with happiness.

" yes and I can't wait to share my life with Aiden." Maria told her mother.
  The chief of staff knocked on Maria's door and he spoke very fast as he talked.

" your highness are you almost ready? the prince is waiting for you in the grand hall. And you still need to go over all the details for your wedding."

Maria tried to calm him down.

" Guillermo," she said to him," I'm almost finished please go down and tell Aiden I'll meet him shortly."

   "Right away your highness!" Guillermo said, as he raced down the steps.

  Maria shook her head slowly as Guillermo left. Finally, when Maria was all dressed, she went downstairs to meet Aiden in the grand hall. Aidan stared at her in awe, never in his life that he seen anyone so lovely. Aiden went with Maria to check on the last preparations for the wedding. Finally, everything was ready ,Aiden went down the aisle. First came the ringbearer. He looked so handsome in his little suit. Next came the flower girl she had on a little purple dress with a white flower crown. Next came the most beautiful of all Maria, the bride.
  Everyone turn the stare in her direction ,even Aidan's. As Maria walked down the aisle, her veil fluttered behind her, making her even more beautiful as she walked. both kings and queens sat on their thrones and watched their children get married. They hope that this marriage would Unite there kingdoms but it wasn't about that at all Aiden had asked Maria to marry him, simply because he loved her nothing more.

  Finally, the priest spoke," do you, prince Aiden take this princess to be your wife?"

  Aiden answered with great happiness," I do."

Maria smiled when she heard this, and then the priest spoke again .

" and do you, princess Maria take this man to be your husband?" the priest asked her.

Maria answered shyly," I do".

The priest then pronounced to the crowd," I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
  Aiden and Maria share the passionate kiss, and everyone cheered as the two young royals were now married. They waved to their parents into everyone in the village, and they both were so happy that they felt their lives were complete.

  A couple months after Aidans father feel very ill, and he called his son to him," Aidan, my son." the king told him as he lay upon his deathbed.

    " I will not be on this earth for much longer, but I hope for the best of the kingdom that you become a wise and strong ruler in my place." Aidan was sad to hear his father speak such words he tried to believe to himself that his father would get well, but it was not meant to be. The very next day Sadness swept over the kingdom. As the king had passed on in the night, but no one was more heartbroken. Then, Aiden since his childhood, his father had been his only companion, his only true friend that would take him into the woods all the time as a small boy, and would show him the beauties of the forest.

After the kings funeral, Aiden locked himself in his room, and would not speak to anyone.
Finally, after a long wait, Maria decided to talk to him as she entered she saw Aiden sitting alone next to the window . She was very upset to see her husband So sad.

" I'm sorry about your father." Maria told him with sadness in her eyes." but now this kingdom rests on you now you are the new king."

Aiden turn to look at her and realized that she was right it was his turn for the throne. He thanked her for her kind words, and he grabbed his sword and went out to see his subjects. When Aiden burst through the Palace doors,the priest asked him,
" are you ready to be crowned king?"
Aidan looked at him with a determined look

" I am." he said, with such determination.
