The Forest Queen

The Palace

Mina had never been in a palace before, let  alone a town so she thought it best that she should go unnoticed. She decided to go on the rooftops so that no one would see her.

" I sure hope no one sees me. I really wanna get my sword back." Mina thought to herself.

Mina sneaks from rooftop to rooftop until finally she was at the palace's tallest floor. She kept sneaking around. She wanted to know what the prince had done with her sword.

" where is it?!" Mina asked her self.

Mina was getting frustrated because she didn't know which room in the palace, The prince had put her sword. Mina turned her hooded head from Tower roof to Tower roof, until it last she found her sword on a pedestal in the palace treasure room from a window.

Mina gasped as she said to herself," there it is!"

Meanwhile, prince Felix was looking out his bedroom window until he saw the shadow figure jump from one of the palace towers. He squinted his eyes to get a better look, and he decided to follow the figure. As prince Felix looked closer, he realized that it was actually a silhouette Of a woman. He saw her climbing through the window and followed her then they both finally came to the treasure room. Mina pulled down her hood and face mask from her face, and the prince saw actually how beautiful she was. He was mesmerized. But she didn't see him on the other side of the room. He continued on the opposite side of the room until finally they were both at the sword and reached for it at the same moment, and then their hands touched and both of them had a hold of the sword.

Mina and the prince both looked at each other in the eyes, and we're both smitten by what they saw as they locked eyes. Mina wasn't sure what to say to him, but they only stared at each other for a short while, until she finally broke the silence.

" um, you're probably wondering what I'm doing in your palace. It's just well I'm sorry." Mina tried to say the Prince.

" it's OK". The prince told to her with the hesitant voice. " this isn't really my sword anyway."

" Yeah , I know. Thanks for finding it because  the sword belongs to me." Mina said With glee.

" it does,does it?" the prince, asked her playfully. " I don't know. I think I might have to keep it.."

Mina was starting to lose her patients," What?! But it's mine!" She said, trying to hold her anger.

The prince didn't want her to leave." well, I had my hand on it first." he said, with his most playful voice yet. " if you want it,come and get it."

" fine." Mina said with confidence, with that,with her agility, she managed to get the sword back from the prince. " Thanks for keeping my sword safe. Now,I bid you adieu."

Prince Felix still wanted her to stay so he snuck the sword away from her and they both ended up playing cat and mouse with it for a little while. Realizing that she needed to go home, Mina snuck the sword back again and turned to him as she stood on the windowsill.

"I hope that we meet again."Mina said is she jumped out the window and went back to her Forest home.

All the Prince could do was look out the window and see her runoff into the forest. Soon, prince Felix realized he had a new and strange feeling. He didn't know what it could be, but he soon found out that maybe he had feelings for this mysterious forest girl. but then he realized he still didn't even know her name either. He wanted to find her again, but wasn't sure on how to do it. Prince Felix decided to go back into the forest in the morning to see if he can find this girl again so he could ask her her name, but prince Felix wasn't the only one who wanted to find this girl. His mother and father also wanted to find this person because when Felix returned home, he told his family at dinner that he was saved by a strange masked person in the forest,so they could express our gratitude to her for saving their son from robbers in the forest. In the morning they would send out some soldiers to see if they could find the person and give him/her a small pouch of gold in return for saving the prince.

Prince Felix's big Brother Prince Victor also wanted to know about the mysterious girl, Victor saw his little brother was really smitten with her as it was so obvious that he was in love. All Felix did, ever since he saw the mysterious girl, he would look out his window all day. Victor was a tall and handsome young man, who would someday inherit the throne, it seems like everyone in the Palace was curious about this stranger who lived in the forest, but there was nothing anyone could do about it right now,right now what everyone had to do was get some sleep since it was so late. But everyone had the same idea. They would all look for Mina in the morning.
