Gilbert told the Forest Queen what happened, upon hearing their story. She showed them to an abandoned cottage in the middle of the forest, where no one could find them. The queen felt great sympathy for her friend, but most of all she felt sympathy for the little baby Princess. She was heartbroken to hear that the baby Princess was left with nothing after her Kingdom was burned.

" I only wish I could do more for you both." The forest Queen told Gilbert.

" this is enough I do not wish to trouble you anymore." Gilbert said to the queen.

They went inside the abandoned cottage, and the queen placed a little baby princess in a little basket, and set it next to a window as a little princess slept. Gilbert looked around the cottage and was satisfied but now he had to focus on the little princess, who had lost everything in one day.

" it's OK." the forest queen told Gilbert as she rocked the baby princess in her basket . " I'll take care of her while you tidy up the cottage for a little while."

Gilbert was unsure of this at first after all he knew nothing about raising a child but he didn't want to refuse the queen,so Gilbert started to clean the cottage with his magic. He cleaned the floors ,washed the windows,He dusted the stairs, and then he fix the roof, which had holes. Gilbert looked around and was satisfied at all the work he accomplished in so little time although when he had finished, it was late, so after making sure, the princess Jessica was asleep, he went to talk to the queen again to say good night.

" we can't call her Jessica," the queen, said to Gilbert," she needs a new name if anyone calls her Jessica,Ronaldo could link her to the princess that she is."

" I know that." Gilbert said to the queen as she's floated in the air slightly above the ground." there has been a name that has been in my mind for a while. I would like to call her Mina."

" I think that's a fine name." the queen, said happily.

And so the princess Jessica had a new name, Mina . Gilbert was determined to make sure that she knew nothing about her past although he did fulfill the late Queen Maria's wishes and placed the golden necklace around Mina's neck. Gilbert told the queen that Mina would have to wait until she was a little older to inherit her father's sword. The queen didn't mind after all, whoever heard of a little baby with a sword? At last night came in Gilbert and the queen had to say good night to each other as Gilbert entered the clean cottage and he looked at the little baby, still sleeping as he went upstairs to his own bed. For once in his life, Gilbert actually felt like a father, and he promised himself that he would take really good care of Mina.
Gilbert placed the little princess beside him, and just as he was about to fall asleep, he reached out his hand and took her little hand in his.

" good night, Mina." Gilbert told her as he drifted off to sleep. Gilbert was now happy to have a home and a daughter.
