Carlos

Now you may remember that Ronaldo had a son named Carlos. Well he does and Carlos has grown into a handsome, tall young man. Carlos had dark hair. He wore a purple long robe with a hood and in his pocket, he carried a wooden wand. Now Carlos was nothing like his father. He tried to keep up the spirits of the towns people. Sometimes he would sneak out of the castle and give them money, food and clothes. He was in the castle library when his father bursting with an evil laugh.
Ronaldo told Carlos that he had found the heir to the throne. Carlos was shocked to hear this. when he heard the heir to the throne, was in the dungeon, he put down his book and went down to see her. Carlos saw her staring out the tiny window of her cell wondering if Gilbert,Felix, and her friends were on their way. Carlos whispered to get her attention and when she turned around she saw the wizard's son looking at her.

"Are you Mina?" Carlos asked her.

"I am." The girl said as the chain around her ankle rattled when she turned to face him. " How could he tell I was the princess?" She asked him.

Carlos gave her a sad look," It's your eyes and necklace. Your eyes are the same color as the late Queen's were . My father also knows that necklace belonged to the late Queen Maria, your mother."

"My mother?" Mina said with sadness and confusion. "My mother's name was Maria?"

"Yes." Carlos said sadly as he placed his hands on the cell bars.

Mina wiped away tears and slumped down with her back turned,"What about my Father? What was his name?"

"I don't know if I—." Carlos started.

"What was his name?!" Mina asked again with frustration.

Carlos turned his head away," King Aiden." He replied.

For a moment things were silent Geo just sat there and looked at Mina. Carlos then ran off near the doorway of the dungeon next to the doorway was the hanging keys to the cells. Mina tried to see what he was doing.

"What are you doing?" Mina asked him as he came back with the keys.

"I'm going to get you out of here." He answered as he turned the key in the lock.

Then he freed her ankle and Geo's neck from the shackles and he led them to a wall.

"Why did you bring us here? It's just a dead end!" Mina said with a little annoyance.

"Watch." He said as he stood in front of the wall.

Carlos then pushed a special hidden stone button which revealed a secret passageway. Carlos told Mina and Geo that they could sneak out of the passageway without being noticed and she could sneak out of the kingdom. Mina asked why he was helping her and Geo, Carlos told her that even though his father was evil didn't mean that he was and Carlos also explained to Mina that he wanted the rightful heir to return to the throne so that the kingdom could be happy again.

"I don't know what to say Carlos. You helped me get out of the cell." Mina said with a gratitude tone.

"Don't mention it." Carlos said as he went back to the castle.

Then he handed her a bronze necklace and a long,brown hooded cloak with long sleeves and it flowed behind her as she walked. Geo also got disguise, Carlos put an old tattered cloth over his so he looked like a goat and got some wood for the little horns.Carlos said it was to avoid being recognized so she could sneak out of the kingdom. Mina thanked him and left with Geo out of Crimania. Her disguise worked, nobody gave her a second look and she was able to get back into the forest. She had to round up all of her animal friends and her family to help her take back her country.

"This is so embarrassing!" Geo said with frustration.

"No I think you look even cuter." Mina said teasingly.

"Yes I'm cute as my dinner! Are you paying me back for being jealous?!" He said annoyed.

"Yes I am." She quickly replied.

As she and Geo were running to get help,Geo asked Mina to forgive him for tricking Prince Felix and Mina of course she forgave him. But then Geo asked her something that made her stop running.

"Tell me honestly, how do you feel about the Prince?" Geo asked.

Mina shocked slowed down and stopped," I don't know what I feel. When I think of him it makes my heart race and my head suddenly goes blank."

Geo gave her a happy glance," I know what you are feeling. Love."

Mina knew that her fox was right, she was in love with Felix, she couldn't deny it. Even though her cheeks were red ,she reminded Geo that they needed to the others. So again they ran off.
