Geo Upset

"I'm telling you guys, I think Mina actually likes this guy." Geo said to his friends with anger.

Maisy's eyes lit up with delight,"Well that's wonderful because I think he likes her too." She said with happiness for her friend.

Issac joined in," Yeah Geo calm down, you can clearly see that she had little interaction with other people like her so this could be her chance to get to know other people." He explained to him with a assuring tone.

Geo was very upset," How can you guys just sit here and eat berries without thinking that at some point, Mina might want to go and live with other people if she gets to know them?!" He yelled at them as he swatted the pile of berries on the ground. He turned to face the stream. Maisy came up and sat down beside him.

"Look," she said as she looked at herself in the stream. "I know that you love Mina, we all do but we also know that one day Mina will eventually want to start a family of her own like we all do in our lives." She explained as she turned to look at Geo with compassion and confidence on her face.

Geo's anger turned to sadness," I just don't want her to leave us. She's our best friend."

With a little sadness in her voice, Maisy asked him to give the prince a chance and that Mina seems to be happy to be with him. Geo only turned and sadly walked into the forest while Issac and Maisy stayed at the stream. Issac held up some other berries and turned to the white fox.

"Hey look!" Issac said to her," I found some strawberries in here!" He screamed with excitement.

Maisy didn't say anything but only showed an annoyed expression on her face.
Geo walked sadly in the forest until he heard Mina's laugh and went to go see what was happening. As he peeped through the bushes, he saw Mina trying to teach the Prince to swim.

"How can you swim in this water? it's cold!" He asked as he got out of the small lake.

"When you live in the forest as long as I have, you get used to a lot of things." She answered as she swam on her back with a smile.

Mina looked up at Felix and gestured for him to come back and join her. They both swam around and dived under the water and saw the underwater creatures of the lake and they were both looking at them in wonder when they were done swimming. Mina wanted to show him something else and they were looking down from a cliff and saw a mother hawk feeding her babies. Mina and Felix just enjoyed the view as they looked at each other and back at the hawk. Then they both felt their cheeks getting red. Mina then thought they should go back and she took Felix's hand and led him back to the lake. Mina then asked him if he wanted to swim with her again.

Geo got closer to the lake and Mina saw him coming so she called out to him. " Geo! I'm so happy to see you will you join us for a swim?" She asked the sad looking fox.

"No thanks. I'm going to take a walk down the river." He answered as he walked away.

Mina shouted back at him," Be careful we don't want you falling in like you did before ok." The fox said nothing but instead just nodded. He then went to the river and just looked depressingly at his reflection in the water.
