The Forest Queen

The new baby princess

For eight years all was well, but Maria and Aiden were sad because out of all the treasures of the kingdom they still did not hear the one sound that they wish to hear.a baby cry. Maria went to her husband's side.

" oh, Aiden," Maria said to him." what good is running this kingdom? If I do not have the one thing I wish to have."

" I know my love," Aidan told her," but there is nothing we can do now except wait and hope for a miracle."

And they did wait. They waited and waited and waited until finally , Maria gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Aiden was pacing outside Maria's room when he was shown the baby, he was overcome with joy and held a grand party in her honor, Maria and Aiden named their little daughter , Princess Jessica. Aiden had asked Gilbert to perform some magic tricks for the little princess, everyone, who was anyone was at the little princess's party. They all gathered around to see the newborn baby princess, and their lives were filled with such joy to see the new face of the kingdom. Princess Jessica was a curious baby. She kept reaching for her little mobile that hung over her crib. Queen Maria laughed as she reached for her little daughter, and held her in her arms. As Maria held the new baby, the feast went on kings, queens, and all the nobles from far and wide were at the party.
But just as everyone was happy at the celebration of the new princess, the door suddenly burst open with a loud bang, and when a dark figure entered the room, everyone's got a shock, for it was none other than Ronaldo, but no one has seen him for eight years, but he wasn't alone. Ronaldo had brought his young son,Carlos with him. Carlos was kind of a cute boy. He had dark hair like his father, but light brown eyes, and he wore a small purple wizard cloak with a hood. He was only four years old when his father came back to the kingdom.
Ronaldo turned to look at the king and queen as they place the new princess in her crib again.

" well well well," Ronaldo said," what do we have here a party and I was not invited? I feel distressed about not receiving an invitation."

Gilbert came to confront his old friend," Ronaldo what happened to you? you've changed." it was true Ronaldo had changed. Ronaldo had become more evil looking.

" it's really quite simple really," Ronaldo told the crowd," back when I was up in the Storming Mountains I found an old book behind the waterfall when I opened it it was full of dark magic spells. I've been working on them for eight years until I perfected each one of them. Then I met a cunning young sorceress and we had a child together. This is Carlos, my son." Ronaldo walked up to the king and queen, his heart full of revenge and anger.

" I am here to take my rightful place in the kingdom as the royal wizard." Ronaldo announced to everyone.

" no way," king Aidan said to him," you know the rules a king is only allowed to choose one royal wizard." Ronaldo looked at his old friend and gave an evil smirk.

" you're right ,your majesty." Ronaldo said to him in a mocking tone. Carlos was just sitting there, watching his father. Ronaldo finally had enough he was there for a purpose.

" so it would seem that the only solution," Ronaldo said," would be to change the law."

Suddenly, big zaps of purple thunderbolt came down from the sky and set a blaze to everything in sight soon there was a fire,the fire was swallowing up, everything in its path. The queen and king rush to save the baby princess but they were both stricken by big piles of stone that fell from the castle walls everything was set ablaze the kingdom was burning to the ground, and the subjects were all scrambling for cover, and Gilbert suddenly saw the baby princess crying in her crib,in the middle of this. Suddenly he scooped her up and put a protective shield over them. Then he saw the king and queen they were both lying on the ground, the king was already dead and the queen rose up to tell Gilbert something. Gilbert had one arm cradling the queen and one arm holding the baby Princess.

" Gilbert," the queen, said with weak breath," I want you to take our daughter and run into the forest where Ronaldo can never find you." then the queen took off her necklace and grabbed her husband's sword which laid next to her.

" when our daughter is old enough, I wish for you to give her the sword, and I also wish for you to give her this necklace so then, this way we can someway be a part of her. promise me you'll take care of my daughter." The queen told him.

" I promise." Gilbert told the queen as he held her in his arm While he held the baby princess in the other.

And with that the queen died next to her husband, and Gilbert was stricken with sadness, but he had to get away from Ronaldo soon he got a horse from the stables and rode off with the baby princess into the forest. Gilbert rode on for miles and miles until at last he came to another kingdom. Gilbert resided in its forest where his friend Queen Janice Resided and ruled over the forest. Gilbert asked the forest queen if she could hide them and she did so. She wanted to know what was going on and the queen was a very beautiful figure. She had long white hair that flooded behind her like it was magic and she had a faint yellow glow around her. She had a long golden staff that resembled a tree in her right hand.She also had a crown of golden leaves that rests atop her head and the Forest Queen had on a long,green, and gold dress, which flowed like a waterfall from behind her as she hovered in the air slightly above the ground.
But back in Crismania, Ronaldo announced himself king and took over the whole kingdom.

" long live the king!" Ronaldo announce to the crowd of people as sadness took over their faces, and without the air to the throne the princess Jessica there was nothing that could be done.
