The Forest Queen

The mysterious stranger

" What is it Benny?" Mina asked the panting bear.

" hold on a minute let me just catch my breath." the bear said to Mina with hard breath.

Everyone waited for the bear to catch his breath to hear what he had to say, and why he was such a rush .

" there's a man in the forest." the bear said everyone.

Mina, had seen men in the forest before, but she always kept her distance, unless they were poachers.
Because the hunters were just trying to feed their families, but the poachers they lie,hunt ,and make traps to hurt,and sell all the rare animals they can get their hands on. Mina wanted to know who this person was. She wanted to see if he was a threat to her forest home. So, without a Word Mina took off to see this person.

   Now this young man was Prince Felix, he was the second prince in a kingdom called Diamanté. He was hunting some quail he could make for a family meal.
He was riding his white horse when all of a sudden he heard chirping he saw a golden bird tangled in a net, Mina was watching him from behind a tree, she wanted to see what he would do so she just kept a close eye on him.

When the Prince saw the little golden bird tangled in the net, he wanted to set it free, so he got off his horse and went over to free the trapped animal. He untangled the Little bird, and was happy to see it fly off free to the forest.

  " his attitude I like." Mina thought to herself.

Suddenly Mina felt something that she hasn't felt ever before in her life. She felt as if her heart was going to pound out of her chest. She couldn't quite make out what this feeling was. But this feeling was short-lived, robbers came out of the forest. The robbers had the prince around it on all sides.

" look, who's a long way from the palace." One robber said.

The prince tried to do battle with them, but he was outnumbered, and soon it looked like always hopeless. Mina knew she couldn't just sit back and watch these people hurt this innocent man. When it seems like the robbers would win,a masked hero showed up from the forest.

" who is he?" one of the robbers asked as he looked at the masked hero in shock.

" who cares who he is?! Get him!!" Another robber called out.

They drew out their swords, and did battle with this hero. There were many of them, but since Mina had grown up in the forest, she knew it better than anyone, she soon overpowered all the robbers and sent them back to where they came from. Before Prince Felix could thank this stranger she was already gone. but he noticed something shiny on the ground. It was the Stranger's sword. He picked it up and went back to the Palace. He thought he could return it tomorrow morning because the sun was going down and the Forest is more dangerous at night.

" Shoot! I dropped it!" Mina, thought to herself as she realizes she lost her sword.

Mina saw everything and wanted to get her sword back because it was a gift from her father,Gilbert. It was really really special to her. Mina was scared, though she had never been outside of the forest, but she had to go to the palace to get her sword back. Her father would be very angry if he saw her without her sword.
So, without even consulting with the queen or her father, Gilbert, Mina went into the town and to the palace, but she knew she had to get her sword back without being seen so she put her mask back on and headed for the palace.
