The Forest Queen

All Hail The Queen!

Mina walked calmly down the coronation isle and looked to see everyone there. Felix,Carlos,Gilbert, and her three fox friends. She was so happy to know that she won't be alone in her new home and her new role as the Queen. She bent over and let the priest place the crown on her head and she turned to face her people.

" all hail, Queen Mina!" The priest announced.

The people praised and cheered for Mina for being their new ruler. They were sure that Mina would be better than Renaldo. They all helped themselves to the food,drinks and had a lot of fun. Everyone that is except Mina. She was still a little anxious about leaving her forest home, so she walked away from the ballroom onto the balcony and gazed out over her new kingdom. Felix noticed that and walked up to talk to her.

"You know, now that you are queen, you can make the Forest part of your kingdom so you can visit anytime you want." He suggested to her.

She turned to him and smiled," You know what? You're right." Then Gilbert showed up with Queen Janice's old golden staff.  "Father?" Mina asked him. "What are you doing with grandmother's staff?"

Gilbert looked up at Mina and said," You know that your Grandmother always carried her staff around and you also may know that she could make things grow with it." He explained. "If she could see how much you became a wonderful Queen, she would be so proud of you."

Mina started tearing up and she wiped her tears away and hugged Gilbert, as she took the staff, it lit up and glowed. Mina was so happy to see that she would never be alone. After the coronation ceremony, Queen Mina went for a walk in the garden with staff in hand, once it was rebuilt after Renaldo destroyed it. She was smelling the violets when she heard something behind her as she turned,she saw Hiran again. Mina went to him and rubbed him on his face.

"So?" He asked her." Do you know what you want now?"

"Yes." She answered." I want to be the best Queen I can be."

Hiran nodded his head and smiled softly as he was happy with her answer. Hiran started to walk away when Mina stopped him. "Wait will I ever see you again?" She asked him with a little sadness.

"No one knows what the future holds but I can tell you that next time you are in trouble, I will always be there. All hail the Queen!"Hiran said," but now we've got something important to do."

Mina knew what he was talking about and got on his back holding her golden staff and Hiran took off. Mina used the staff to make her land lush and green again. The whole sky lit up with a bright golden light and it was so beautiful to see. When everything was done, Hiran took Mina back to the castle. Mina smiled at him and said that was fun because she never flew before. She then said a happy and sad goodbye to Hiran as he disappeared.

Even though he was leaving,Mina was happy because she knew that he would appear when she needed him to return. Mina then went into the castle to see Maisy,Issac, Geo, Gilbert and Felix.

Felix was the first to greet her, as she approached,Felix said that he had not gotten a dance with the new queen yet. They both walked in the ballroom together and they were all alone and started dancing.

"You know, I think I'm going to like being queen." Mina said to him with a loving smile.

Felix returned the smile and said," Then All hail the queen."

Then they share a tender kiss as the sun set over the mountain.
